Q: Is this a cd or a download. i don't have cd drive so is there a download option if it is a cd?

This is a CD. I know that you can get an external CD drive to plug into your USB port. I have not played with this software yet. Just installed it yesterday.

Q: Does it have a template for a multipage bifold book?

I am not the right kind of customer for this question. I wrote a book, 177 pages, with PagePlus X6. I have purchased and tried X7 and X9 but still prefer X6. I have started my 2nd book with PP X6. Tried X9 but did not like it.

Q: I want to design a page with photos text and clip art for my website. my files need to be in jpg format will this work?

I can import many picture formats. The ones I use most often are jpg, png, bitmaps. I can also import pdf files which is then broken into text boxes and picture formats. For text, I simply copy from an outside document source and paste into a text box. I also have the ability to place a text box within the program and type directly. I'm not sure if that is what you are asking. If you are saying that you are only allowed to use jpgs on your website, there is a way to do that in the export function. You can see how it is done using Serif x9 at their website (http://www.serif.com/appresources/PPX7/Tutorials/en-us/help/export_as_picture.htm).
