Makita 164095-8 Rip Fence for Circular Saws, Black

Magnificent.. I used it to cut some plywood with my new battery powered Makita saw and it worked perfectly.

This rip fence was a perfect fit for my Makita circular saw and the price was great.

Doesn't fit a Hart 20v 5 1/2" circular saw. This was the second adjustable fence I had tried. Is made well. I took my angle grinder and shaved the post down to the right size.

Perfect replacement

It fits perfectly on my Ridgid cordless circular saw. This fence doesn't come with screws. On my saw I needed one #10-32 screw to hold the fence in place using the saw's own fence bracket. My only wish is that the arm were longer to provide more reach into a workpiece.

I used this with my Makita circular saw after struggling to find ways of ripping large sheets with some level of precision. Previously I would just draw a straight line and hope for the best. If it were really important, I might try to overlay another piece of plywood to serve as straight-edge, but that's annoying and difficult. With this guide, I can cut extremely accurately if I take the time to measure properly. As long as the plywood edge is straight, you can make reliable and repeatable cuts with no issue. Highly recommended for woodworking.

Perfect fit for Makita 5007F Circular Saw. Works for quickly ripping boards. Wish it came with the saw originally.

Gekocht voor een Bosch cirkelzaag omdat die een bijgeleverde geleider had die geheel onbruikbaar was. Deze van Makita heeft een U-vormige bevestigingsstang, waardoor hij tot vlakbij het zaagblad gezet kan worde, en dus kan je een stuk afzagen van enkele mm to meerdere cm. En perfect recht. Hij heeft ook nog gaatjes op de juiste plek zodat ik hem eenvoudig kon verlengen door er een latje tegenaan te schroeven voor een nog beter resultaat.
