I used this cord to replace the too short, hard wire cord in a wicker pendant so I could hang the pendant from a high ceiling with no electrical in the ceiling area where I wanted it. It worked well, however the pendant it just sort of balancing on the wood receptacle, since there it doesn’t have two part washer/screw on assembly that some cords do. That would have been helpful! But I couldn’t find one like that in a hemp look that was long enough for my needs. So I’m making this one work. I have to re-balance the wicker pendant occasionally, which is annoying, I might try hot gluing them together.

This was a cheap, easy way for me to make a classy wall lamp. I plugged it into a remote socket and it's absolutely perfect!!!! The cord length is what sold me, it's so difficult to find something to go up the wall and to the socket.

These two corded sockets are sooo nice and very well made,way better than I thought. Highly recommend!
