Silvervine Powder for Cats – Great for Toys & Scratchers

Quality silvervine and love the convenient tin. It is small but the powder is very fine and compacted so a little goes a long way. One cat ignored it like he ignores everything else; his slightly more energetic brother wasn't interested until I sprinkled it onto a plush toy and he started tossing it around like a basketball. The effects are short-lived and really depend on what mood he's in, but he's never played with plush toys or catnip before. So I have had this product for almost a year now. I have 2 boy cats that are from different families and both of them love the silver vine. As soon as I get it out the drawer and they recognise it, they both want to snatch it from my hands so they can lick it.I not long ago introduced this to my neighbours cat as he never had silver vine before. He was sceptical at first but I put it on the floor for him and after realising what it was he really enjoyed it. He was rolling around the floor trying to get himself covered in it and even attempted to lick it. It was a very funny sight.Because I left some of it in our garden from trying it with the neighbours cat, a lot of the neighbourhood cats started showing up to that same spot where I left some of it in the garden. One big black cat I’ve never seen before showed up and rolled around in it, and not long after another cat I’ve seen rarely who wanted a taste and a roll around in it as well.I think this silver vine is amazing and it seems many different cats love it. I will definitely order more again when I run out. The cats seem to like the silver vine more than catnip.

My cats went crazy for the silvervine stick toys but were no where near as interested in this. Perhaps I received and old batch or they just prefer it in its natural state. Sadly not for my cats.

My cat loves this stuff. She has never reacted to catnip but I put some of this inside her stuffed beaver toy & she has been carrying it round, cuddling up to it & playing with it all afternoon.The tub it comes in is very secure so it won't spill out very easily but it is extremely small so if you have more than 1 cat it's probably best to buy more than 1 tub.I'll definitely buy some more when this pot runs out as my adult cat really does enjoy it

Only 2 out of 10 cats had any reaction to this at all. Each of them usually loves normal catnip. Stick to what you know.

As expected with Mew and Friends products and service, this was my first try on silvervine, previously I have bought their Cat Nip which does it for my little girl. I thought I would try this. As others have said, you only need a tiny bit to dose your Cat. She was lost in her "high". Rolling around on the carpet, nuzzling her cloth toy rat I had spiked with Silver Vine. Dribbling with a spaced out look on her face. The amount in the tin will last a long time. I don't give it to her too frequently in case she gets de sensitised. You shouldn't go wrong. I recommend it, like the Cat Nip from this supplier
