Older, but still worth the price
Yes, this is both a 2020 model and refurbished. Depending on your needs, it's still a great buy. I needed a second rig in my workshop, so I gave this board a shot. From what I can tell, ASUS did a recall and had quite a few of these fail because of bad fans in the chipset cooler. They replaced them with revised units and that solved the problem. You can tell by the noise the fan makes. If it's fairly loud, it's the old fan because they had a bearing issue. If it's silent, it's the new fan. The refurbished boards have the new fan.The board works great, and has great performance and full x570 options. It comes with the combo wifi and Bluetooth antenna, but nothing else. No manual, cables, or anything else. It doesn't even come in its own box. It will be in a generic antistatic bag, wrapped up in big bubble wrap and the shipping box is the box you get.The only thing that mine was missing was the raised nut for the primary M.2 slot. There are base nuts permanently installed for each of the different sized M.2 boards, but the raised nut to keep the M.2 board level is missing.I had a spare so that worked for me. You don't have to have one as long as you are running a bare M.2 board. One with a heatsink might not work. Your M.2 board will come with a screw, but not the nut, and this board is missing the original nut.Other than that, everything works great, and it offers a great feature set for my needs in the workshop. Using a Ryzen 7 5700g with IGP and 32GB of 4000 ram. The ram was not on the QVL, but it's XMP profile worked fine after I did a BIOS update. Just make sure to clear the CMOS before you do the BIOS update so old information doesn't stay behind and cause trouble.

Great Mobo Refurbisher did a great job
The board worked flawless, included all of the accessories. The only difference was the I/o plate was aftermarket, instead of the black ASUS “tuff” backplate. Which was no big deal. I’ve always have been hesitant on buying a refurbished motherboard, but this board was great from Seller. 5 stars, great price, for a great AM4, x570 board. They even flashed the bios, to the most current version. A very large plus, since I was pairing it with a cpu from 2022 (5700x).

A motherboard and a box of random stuff
I got the motherboard, a functional faceplate, a screw for an m.2 drive, an m.2 riser screw (one of the m.2 drives is slightly elevated and requires a riser), and a pair of screw-on directional antennas. No SATAcables, no manual, no driver CD, and the item should have shipped with a shark antenna - not a directional antenna. All of the missing things come with the actual product and I honestly cannot think of a reason these scrubs can sell this board as refurbished if they don't include everything in the original box or at least spell out what you will be getting. What you will get will be random, hence the 3-star review. My motherboard works, the manual and drivers are online, but I could have used the SATA cables - and I would have liked to have gotten the shark-style antenna since elevating it might improve my reception a bit.UPDATE: Contacting the seller helped correct the shortcomings and I've adjusted the review accordingly. The seller gets these from ASUS directly and the boxes are sealed, so they just react as needed.Regardless, you should get this motherboard in advance of a system build so you can determine what missing pieces you might need to aquire in order to finish your build.

May need a BIOS update, but super stable.
Got a board with a screw broken off in the M2 standout. Also was missing M2 Heatsink. Company shipped a replacement as soon as the return label was scanned. Next board was perfect. It's pretty solid. Stock PBO settings with memory at 3600 will net you a single core holding 4.9GHz for several minutes when paired with a 5900x or 5800x3d. Hell my 5900x held 6 cores at 4.6 indefinitely while playing x4. Just pairs stupid well with 5000 series and fast memory. This was refurbished so you may not get the same level of performance, but the board itself, when fully funtional is very capable.

This board is a beast
Very TUF no nonsense board. Installed with a AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, 128gb Corsair DDR4 and two nvme drives and a Radeon Sapphire Nitro+ RX 6700 XT. I'm a professional sports photographer and videographer and this is my editing beast. Zero issues. Installation was a dream, manual was very clear and easy to read. I love the bios update utility, it worked like a charm. My Adobe LR workflow is now smooth as butter. Very happy.

waste of time
purchased this MOBO to replace a rog strix.. Board would not read the storage devices.. Which I could only guess was the same complaint the last person had & wasn't fixed...didn't come with software drivers nor a manual.. Yes the drivers are supposed to be delivered with this product. I have purchased 2 TUF MOBO's from asus...So I already had drivers software. But i didn't even get past the bios setup... This is my last time buying amazon renewed... I've had nothing but bad luck with renewed amazon products...

Solid board, passed 48hr burn-in tes.t
Was skeptic ordering a used motherboard, however since its a top-of-line replacement part for an older system that had a value mobo took the chance. I am impressed, this board reseller company included new factory OEM (Asus) branded accessories and a warranty support card and free 30 day returns. That took the risk out and made the purchase a easy decision, super value and extends the life of my system because this high end board supports better overclock ability and PCIe 4.0 GPU and VNMe upgrade options, yielding in a huge upgrade performance potential.
