A wonderful book
This is a great book on communication. I have read many books on communication and self-improvement. I really appreciated the emphasis on self-awareness. It challenged me to pay more attention to the nonverbal messages that others receive from me. I must admit that I am not completely certain about the nonverbal messages that people receive from me. This is what I intend to be working on in the next few months.

Loved to learn how people think
Learned how much I misunderstood about what and why people say what they say. I dug up this book to transition from highly tech oriented person to better connect with people in my vocation. Using what I learned from this book in addition to communication podcasts, I am getting better day after day. I am sure this will go on for a long time with personal practice.

A MUST READ! Very well written, clear, and perhaps one of the best books on this topic
As a professional salesperson of many years I know how important communication is for my career not to mention life, and I remember my beginnings when I was so bad at talking.... I had read so many books on the topic to become a better communicator, and all I can say is that after 100-200 books read I wish I had found this book a few years ago as it would have sped up that learning process.I enjoy reading it, the style is great, the messages are clear and concise making this book is a delight, especially for fellow INTROVERTS out there!A must read!!!

not great
only touched upon one letter in MBTI and the rest of the book is too fringe to be useful.

It will be better without numbering format errors
Content is organized well, easy to read and the last 4 chapters are very useful to control and adapt to a lot of situations. 4 stars rated because of numbering format errors.Hope it will fix before publishing.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

"A complete coverage on the topic of communication"
I enjoy learning this topic. As an entrapanuer and a family man. I know the importance of communication. Our lives depends on it. Authored provided in detail well rounded information on the subject matter. I got alot of great golden nuggets from this book. I like the break down of different types of communication not just verbal as people mistakenly and commonly think. I highly recommend this book to others and I am going to read other books of this author since I am a student of personal development! Thank you for writing this book.

Readable, Actionable, Realistic
The very last page of this book requests a review, so here goes....Overall, I found this book to be very readable. It contains a reasonable amount of actionable information that is presented in a logical and clear manner. I will be re-reading it several times and taking notes. That said, the cover subtitle says "How to talk to anyone, connect effortlessly, develop charisma and become a people person". Oh please.... In my opinion it delivers on none of this. Actually, I question whether or not the author even approved of the subtitle, it is so cheesy and disconnected from the book. The ridiculous subtitle aside, I consider this book to be a good investment and a welcome addition to my library.

Excellent mixture of theory and hands-on tips to become a better communicator
It started slowly, but it became really powerful. If you are not too excited about the basics of communication, you can skip to chapter 2 but from that point it is a very interesting read.I liked especially how the author shows how to deal with certain personality types like the naysayer, the complainer or the tank. He also explains the theory of communication very well and also the psychology behind it.He also has some interesting info graphics in there. Overall an excellent mixture of theory and hands-on tips to become a better communicator. And I loved some of the quotes in that book. I even took a screenshot of Larry King's quote in chapter 3.
