It shouldn't be so hard, but sometimes it is, lol. I redid my bedroom this spring, and that included a new bed. The new bed is amazing and beautiful, but, none of my previous linens fit it. I had an amazing bed skirt I purchased for my older bed that was 14in from the platform to the floor, but the new one is 21. When I bought the bed (here on amazon) it listed 14in from the platform to the floor, but nope it is 21 from the platform to the floor. Couldn't find a bed skirt long enough, without a custom made one. Well, NOT for hundreds of $$$, so, I ended up buying a very nice white 100% Egyptian cotton, king size sheet here on amazon, during prime day for $21 on sale; with a coupon I had, and made a simple bed skirt myself. Then the new linen duvet I had just purchased from simple opulence, didn't hang long enough down the sides to look nice. So, I finally decided to purchase this ruffled duvet in a king, and use it as a bedspread on my full size bed. It arrived yesterday. I washed it, tossed it in the dryer, and viola...it is perfect! It covers my bed within a half an inch of the floor on both sides and the foot. It looks so nice with the ruffle, as well. Just that added little touch. I use a duvet as a summer blanket, and just a light blanket on top in the winter, as I like to sleep cold, and under light weight covers, and an open window. These high end linen duvets are perfect. I tried several from other vendors, and returned them all; as they just weren't right, and for the money one spends on linen, it needs to be right. I don't do anything special when washing any of my bedding, just a dash of detergent, in cold water, on a light cycle, then into a cool dryer, then on to the bed. The wrinkles are minimal, and part of the relaxed look of linen, that I personally like. New out of the package they are already fairly soft, and not at all stiff or scratchy, but, after a long, cold, gentle wash, they are really nice and fluffy. The get better with each wash as well. I have 3 dogs and 2 cats that all sleep on my bed (yep my home is for humans AND pets) during the day, and off and on during the night, and these linens hold up very well. I use the king size pillow shams as a cover for the back of a chair, and one as a nice ruffled cover for a stand I have in my room. There is just something so beautiful about a white linen bed. My sheets are bamboo, my pillow cases are silk, and I have my linen duvet (s). I think after all of the trial and error, and returning and trying again, I have finally got the bed of my dreams. I know my dreams are sweeter now, lol. We spend a lot of time in our beds in sleep state, so I like to sleep in comfort and luxury. No different that dressing ourselves everyday in nice clothing for our bodies, while awake. A bed, and sleep are just as important; and really contributes to the quality of the day. A good night sleep, means a good day. Thank you to this amazing brand of "simple Opulence" for such a nice quality of linen at such a good price. I'll be back for more, I'm sure. Maybe some nice PJ's, just an idea guys. Sweet dreams. 😊

I bought this linen duvet cover March 2021. It has been washed several times(we use a top sheet so its doesnt need washed to often) and has held up beautifully! I do have to go along and trim the loose strings on the ruffle after washing and 70% drying the cover but it has not ruined the look at all and still looks gorgeous. I would buy this cover over and over! I have seen covers for over 3 times this price that were not as nice.

Linen is my favorite bedding fabric for it's soft texture and breathable weave. Softer with every wash and if you really want the crisp linen look you can iron it, but why?!Dusty Blue is as expected, a soft muted hue with beautiful ruffles- all well sewn.

I love everything about these pillow shams. I designed my entire guest room around them. They are well made, the color is phenomenal. The color!!! They are listed 26x26 but I would recommend a 30x30 pillow insert.

I Absolutly love it! Great price and hand to the fabric. It looks wonderful on my bed and can be dressed up or down and works well with prints and textured throws etc.Only downside is it had a flawed raised thread that had felted fabric at the end looked like it got tattered in the stobe wash process. I am concerned it may not hold well to many washes and might wear a hole. I was able to pull thread to the other side with a tatting tool so I hope it help it from getting snagged etc. It washed well just had to take an iron to the ruffle.There were also a few missed weaved threads that went over about three or 4 warp threads and they have the possibilityof causing quicker wear. Didn't want to return so I will wait and see. Other than that it is very nice and gives a calm relaxed feel to the room.

I feel it’s rare that I truly find an incredible deal on Amazon anymore, although I buy so much stuff just for the convenience. This duvet is an unbelievable deal. It is so soft and pretty. I pay a premium and get my linens primarily from Peacock Alley or Anthropologie. This duvet is as soft and breathable as my linen duvet set from Anthropologie that I paid $500+ for. I’ve read it wrinkles. Well, yes it’s linen…however it’s easily remedied with the right washing and one of the best inventions ever, Downy Wrinkle Spray! I’ve read it sheds over time, but this wasn’t the case for me as I washed and dried it 3 times (cold water, medium spin, low heat) before I used it. The lint catcher in my dryer was more than full, but it didn’t shed when I put it on my bed. This is a great value and I’m buying 2 more for my other beds. I live in Arizona and this linen duvet is perfect from November-April.

I bought this from a suggestion of my realtor to neutralize our bedroom for showing and wow it it beautifully made and softened the whole room.It is thicker than i expected and feels very study and should last a long time even with a little doggie digging in to find the perfect spot…I bought the matching euro shams and they go perfect with it and really give the appearance of a higher end look while still keeping it minimalist like we like.I’d definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable, minimalist natural look!

J ai aimé le modèle sur le site de amazon, par contre très déçu il n est pas en lin et sent très fort le plastique, et ce n est pas la bonne couleur. Aucune mention de la sorte de fibre lin ou polyester.

I absolutely love the colour of this doona cover, and as it's 100% linen, it will last me the rest of my life. Hard to find better value for money than that!
