It’s a very clever idea and a great exercise in color theory. It I gives you a perfect visual of what colors YOUR watercolors make. It’s way better than store bought because there’s just no substitutions for your own palette. Yes, it’s pricey, but worth it.

Very nice instruction video. The dies and stamps work well, and I was able to make many color swatches. If you want to stamp on the swatches and then use watercolor on the swatches you will have to use permanent ink dies. That makes it very difficult to clean the stamps after using them. A die cleaner should be included with this kit for the price.
