Native American Beadwork Patterns

This book is amazing. Since recieving it I have used patterns within this book to decorate a leather pouch for my 8 year-old granddaughter; as well as 2 pair of moc's that I have made for family members for christmas.

Not as many actual patterns as I had hoped, but service and shipping was great! Thank you for prompt shipping and good packaging....trying to fill in more space here to fulfill the word requirement!

A must have for beginner beaders.

Enjoyed the beautiful items the author made as well as learning a little about how her family used them. Photos were very nice

great book if u r a beginner. but i will keep this book to use as a learning tool to teach others.

I ordered this book because I had hoped it would give me patterns that were used by American Indians when they beading their moccasins. The bead work is for other things as bags and clothing. It appears to be of no use to me today but maybe in the future. The pictures are great and patterns well laid out. I would recommend it to anyone that is interested in Native American beadwork.

Quick delivery... not quite what I expected but the ideas may be useful...

This book can be used for someone who is new to bead work and just wants to play around to see if they can alter/ tweek a pattern for crafty excercise. I don't see using it as a beginners guide at all as the pictures appear dark and fuzzy, unclear.

Regalia making

I really liked the book, barbara Houdeshell did a good job with the patterns and the pictures were very nice.

Je cherchais un livre avec des modèles de motifs amérindiens: tissage, peyote et rosette. Dans ce livre, il n'y a que des dessins basiques, qu'on peut trouver n'importe où, et dessiner soi-même (tortue, tête de cheval...) pour fabriquer des motifs en perles comme celui de la couverture... Aucun intérêt pour moi ;(

The pictures in the book are less than desired. The patterns are not very clear. I don't like this book.
