Good sturdy cabinet
I finally decided it was time to tidy up the area around my desk and organise things a bit. To say my wife was excited about the concept of my area being clean and tidy for the first time in years would be an understatement.I bought another cabinet earlier this week that I thought would fit - and if it wasn't for the desk support leg it would have fitted perfectly. So, that one is behind me now and I had to find something a bit smaller. This seemed to fit the bill. So, it is arrived quickly in a good strong box and with no damage at all, not that I suppose even extreme efforts from delivery would have got through this packaging. Double layered thick card box, expanded polystyrene cushioning and foam sheet in between each part.Instructions are clear and easy to follow and all the parts fit perfectly. All the fittings have holes pre-drilled for them and everything lines up nicely. Once assembled this is a strong, solid cabinet. A decent amount of space for files or whatever in the door fronted compartment. A thin drawer for basics and an open shelf which is fine for notepads, paper and suchlike. Two lockable wheels supplied with this (I advise you fit them to the front of the cabinet) stop this rolling around on it's own. I'm not a light person and this took my weight sitting on it without any creaks, cracks or sounds of strain. The single drawer is a little thin, and I think this could have been deeper to be more useful, but it's okay. This sits on metal runners with nylon wheels so it's smooth and quiet and moves on the rails easily. With the locks off this moves smoothly and easily on the wheels. In conjunction with the larger cabinet I purchased this has turned my "work" area from the post-apocalyptic zone it was trying to be into a neat, orderly and tidy area. Something my wife seems to be unduly thankful for. Don't entirely get it myself, the disaster area always stayed around my desk, it didn't wander across the rest of the house.... much.Seriously though, good quality cabinet which is nicely designed, well manufactured and fits together like almost as easily as lego. The black colour helps make this a more subtle addition to my desk and the cabinets are not "in your face" whereas I feel wood or white cabinets would have been far too much, like a large sore thumb.Very pleased with the purchase and the price is very good compared to similar items from high street stores.

Good for the price
First of all be aware that the lower section is just a side opening door and not a pull out file drawer as it would be easy to confuse the somewhat ambiguous pictures and description. The Item arrived on time and well packed although, in my case the item had some minor dings and manufacturing flaws that serve to remind of the price point. A lot of the assembly components look and feel very cheap indeed and I do wonder if rejects filter their way down to this cheap stuff. The instructions are as confusing as they are useful - they really remind me of the original 1980's flat pack furniture that leaves you feeling slightly bemused and questioning evolution . They are best used as a guide.Assembly is not fun but it is not too traumatic either. All you need is a phillips screwdriver and a lot of patience. I would recommend that assembly is done on a table and not on the floor.Once built the item is okay and perfectly serves the purpose I bought it for, to sit under a desk in my home office/workshop and store junk. I would not have been too happy if this was to be in a nice area of the house. It does look like what it is - a cheap but functional piece of furniture.I do not think this item will withstand any abuse whatsoever, the wood is not dense enough to take a small knock without leaving a ding.In summary, great for £35. Looks good from a distance but cheap up close but great if you want a little cabinet that you don't have to worry about.

Very poor instructions
After attempting to follow the instructions I gave up and looked to do it 'my way'. The instructions were pretty lousy but in fairness the item is sturdy and at the price good. Would I buy another....possibly not, based on the poor instructions alone.

Instructions are a must, but they were missing
Putting together like a badly made jigsaw, no instructions in the box so it was a guessing game. Took me two hours to put together, Door not hanging right but will sort that later when my feet wake up. Would i buy this again, nope steer clear of this unless you like the air blue.

Ideal office furniture.
Impressed with this under the desk little cabinet. It's really sturdy and is an ideal size that holds quite a lot. Very pleased with the purchase, especially for the price.

Nice product, but I had to re-work some technical issues whilst assembling the cabinet
Over all; a nice little product for the price, but assembling it became a little frustrating...The instructions were easy to follow and for the most part there weren't any problems, apart from a couple of technical issues that I had to re-work/re-engineer to get the drawer to fit inside the cabinet, and the door/drawer handles would not align with the manufacture's prepared screw holes/fixing locations.Basically, I had to re-align the fixing locations for both handles and the drawer runners to get them to fit and operate properly. Also, when the cabinet door closed, it had no "door stop" at the bottom to stop it from pushing in too far, unlike the bracket at the top; so I had to find a suitable little "stopper" myself and fix it in without said "stopper" taking up too much of the storage room. For me personally, it was a good job that I used to fit kitchens and bathrooms back in my working life, and knew how to get around these silly niggly things, but for someone who does not do much DIYing, then this may present a bit of a challenge.
