For most users this is a great little economy docking station, and works with daisy-chained USB hubs unlike a more expensive Anker I tried first (and the hub used was one of theirs, no less!) and has enough bandwidth for most peripherals, including simultaneous use of a monitor and, wired microphone, and a 1080p capture card. Per the manufacturer (I had to email support for this information) the integrated cable is a 5Gbps bandwidth, which would make it a USB 3.1 Gen 1 spec. This is important to know in case you make use of any extension cables between the dock and the laptop so you avoid bottlenecking. There are a lot of inexpensive docks on the market now that are 3.1 Gen 2 but their standards compliance is often questionable and good luck if you need support. I've been using this one for years now without a single complaint.As a note: If you have trouble getting a printer to respond through it, be aware that some USB-A 2.0 devices do require the USB-C cable to be in a certain orientation to communicate properly. This is a universal USB-A/USB-C issue, not a manufacturer problem or defect. Just flip the orientation of the plug and you should be good.

I use it in combination with "MoKo USB C 90 Degree Adapter Kit 240W, Right Angle USB C Female to USB C Male Adapter Extender Thunderbolt 4/3, 90 Degree USB-C Connector 40Gbps for Steam Deck/ROG Ally/Quest/iPad/iPhone 15 Series" to connect to my Legion GO. It allows me to plug in power, monitor, keyboard & mouse, so that I can use it like it's a mini PC.The only down side is it doesn't work with the HDMI slim cables you have to plug in regular HDMI cables which is a shame as I really like the lightweight HDMI slim cables. I suggest you look at the manufactures (plugable) web site before buying to see their notes on HDMI compatibility as there are some limitations.

Have only had it a couple of days but so far does everything it says it will. No issues on Chromebook, new MacBook will be here in a couple of days and if any issues will update this then. Love it so far though!

Purchased a Plugable USB-C 7-in-1 Hub to expand my port offerings on a NUC13. Plugable's hub did not get recognized by the PC thunderbolt port so I entered an email support request and got immediate response on the weekend and suggestions to begin the process of discovering the issues. Additionally they offered to ship a tested hub to me to see if that would fix the issue.Shortly after that I determined thru system tests that the thunderbolt ports on my NUC were not operating properly and reached out to the PC support team and was able to resolve the issue. After following the recommended instructions and rebooting, I plugged the hub in and everything worked.Bottom line, there was nothing wrong with the Plugable hub, but they demonstrated an excellent response when I was having a problem which will give me confidence in seeking their products when I have future needs.

This product is amazing and all the ports are perfect for basically everything. Unfortunately the HDMI port stopped working for my unit so I sent an email to customer service and within 2 days they sent me a new replacement for free and let me keep my old one. Great product for its use and incredibly portable, use it everyday in college for labs and at the dorm for watching movies.

This small little piece of equipment is very sturdy and one of the most valuable pieces of equipment in my backpack. I use it with a Microsoft surface pro. It is truley the HUB, making my remote work seamless!! I use the hub for a mouse an additional monitor. It works perfect!! Today, I accidentally dropped it on the floor and it didn't dent or damage. The cord length is perfect!! Great Value!!

The 6 other ports work fine, but the USB-C port started crapping out after less than 2 months. Very disappointing considering the number of positive reviews.

i had this for 2 years and it just recently broke the only thing I was using it for was connecting my Logitech g502 light-speed wireless mouse to my computer, and it broke. it was having some connectivity issues the last couple of months which I fixed by adjusting the position I placed it in but it was still constantly disconnecting and then the other day it stopped working completely if you want a USBC hub that's going to last you this is not it find a better one

My previous adapter was a no-name 6-in-1 which actually did all right but was aging and probably overmatched for current needs. It would get pretty hot with multiple items (2nd monitor, ethernet, LED ring light), and it may have glitched when I had a video camera and external mic also attached.The Plugable 7-in-1 arrived yesterday, and I am already impressed. It looks attractive and /feels/ well-made -- a definite step up in build quality. It's reassuring that it comes with a 2-year warranty.I plugged it in immediately, and so far it runs noticeably cooler. Still haven't had a chance to load it with the mic and camera, which are in my office rather than at home. But I'm optimistic.This adapter has one extra USB 3.0 port (compared to my older one), and that port feels like a noticeable benefit. When buying this kind of adapter, it's easy to feel like "2 or 3 USB ports -- it's all the same," but it's actually 50% more ports, and as you tell from my description, I have plenty of items to plug in.I'll write an update if it is appropriate, but for now, I'm very pleased with this product. Would definitely buy another -- and may, for other computers in our office.
