Easy to Use
Use Seral transfer paper in white to transfer your image and easily see where to carve. The plate is easy to carve and easy to print from.

This is the only block I'll buy now
I have been carving on the stuff they sell at big box stores for probably 5+ years. When I tried this block it was a night and day difference. This block carves very smoothly like the pink stamp speedball blocks, but still holds fine detail lines. I can't believe how much easier it is to carve. It saves my wrist and fingers a ton of pain. Also its a great deal, I get the 9x12 2 pack and cut it to size and get like 4 - 6 projects out of it. I now keep a pack on hand at all times.

Easy to carve into
This was easy to carve into, but don’t run it through a press. It will stretch and crack as it’s too flimsy to handle the printing press. I liked that it was easy to carve into though!

Not for laser etching
I've created rubber stamps before by using those eraser blocks and etching into them with my laser. I got the crazy idea to see if it would work on this linoleum but it just melts like plastic. 😆. If I ever decide to do some old fashioned carving, I'm prepared.

Excellent Material
I love this material for linocut more than any other. It's easier than traditional battleship grey, and remains flat, never curling like unmounted battleship lino. Easy to clean. Excellent crisp prints, and just so easy to use. I hate "easy carve" type lino because I find that my lines get distorted due to how soft those materials are. This is a nice middle of the road hardness/softness... and as far as not being able to transfer your designs to it, I guess since I draw mine directly onto the lino generally, I haven't had this problem. I use a prismacolor white colored pencil. I am sure there are other colors of transfer paper, possibly at a place like Joanns. Oh, and I did use white chalk on the back of the one design I printed out from my ipad, to transfer. I hope they never stop making this stuff because I never want to be stuck using the other stuff.

Very Thin, easy to cut
I have tried a few linoleum blocks and this is my least favorite by far. It is very thin, nearly half as thick as my other lino blocks, and the shiny, plastic texture made it difficult for me to both see my sketch on the linoblock or transfer my original sketch onto the linoblock. I had to constantly shift to see past the shininess of the block. However, it did cut pretty smoothly! I was able to get some pretty small details into my piece with relative ease (besides one large gash that cut all the way through the thin block). I will not be buying this again myself but it could be useful if you have a different method of getting your sketch onto the block.

Soft and easy to cut
This is not a traditional hard linoleum, more like a speedy-carve. Soft and easy to cut, the surface is dark grey which is very helpful to see where you just cut.Only downside is that it won’t work well with graphite paper, if you really press it you can transfer very light design on it. Sharpie will absorb in to the block and might transfer on to the paper when you print. Best to just use pencil to draw your design on it.

Watch my video. The product works great.
The media could not be loaded. This product works exactly how it should. Anyone having trouble getting solid results is lacking something in their process. Transfering an image is insanely easy.. Draw your design on paper with a pencil and rub the paper face down on the lino from the backside. BAM, image transfer and it'll be backwards for proper printing. This lino is THIN. Being aware of that, don't gouge too deep.. its simple. If your tools are dull, you will NOT get a clean cut.. on any surface. Sharpen your tools. The video I uploaded shows my entire process for proof. Don't listen to these naysayers, learn your craft. This is a solid product.
