AMAZING sound, AMAZING price
Wow. I have had various stereo and speaker combinations in the past, for different use-cases and under different circumstances; and for a home computer system in a bedroom that needs to be beefy yet compact, and offer quality features without being overly complicated, I really don't think there's a better offer out there. I would have paid $90 for it, easily (probably shouldn't say that - but hey, now I can buy two).Make sure you take your time, read what the inputs and outputs are, and TURN THE VOLUME ALL THE WAY DOWN (as well as turning the power off on the dial that comes with it). You wouldn't want to start your experience with this thing by having it blow out your ears - which it would. So just a quick precaution there. But beyond that, it was VERY simple to setup and the output for the tweeter pair that come with it is on the back of the woofer. And that's probably the last time you will have to deal with the woofer, thanks to their handy-dandy dial (be careful when handling the woofer so as not to impress the open speaker on the bottom, just fyi). I also elected to put the woofer on the floor instead of the desk (so as not to rattle my hard drives), and I can't even tell it's there because of how much the sound fills the room. The first track I put on to try it out HAD to be "Bad Boys," by Inner Circle - that song will always tell you what you're working with. I didn't hear any distortion unless I pumped it up way beyond what would be comfortable for me to listen to, and even at that, I had the woofer on 100% (which you generally don't need to do). The tweeters are bright, maybe brighter than one might expect, but when you get your woofer to 75% or so and dial-in that perfect balance, you will find that they really complement eachother and nothing feels lacking. Just to compare, I switched output to my desktop bluetooth speaker I was using previously (not a cheap one), and bam - it made that old speaker sound like a joke by comparison. I just couldn't believe how much audio detail and finer dynamic range I was missing. Such an improvement.I have this setup to come out of a home studio style mixer/audio interface combo, which receives its own audio signal from the computer. I've got to tell you - ABSOLUTELY amazing. Blew my mind, and that was without any EQ enhancement! Some reviewers have commented that the power button stops working after a certain amount of time... well as mentioned, part of the reason I bought this was to replace a desktop bluetooth speaker - which constantly turns off when not being used. And I wanted something that would just stay ON all the time, so I don't think that will be a problem for me. Also, the "auxiliary" output doesn't seem to work, but I haven't tried it with all possible receiving equipment, so I won't include that determination in my review. And honestly, even if I did, I believe I would still be rating it 5 stars. What sealed the deal in me taking a chance on this unit was that I also saw it was featured as part of a "Small Business" support type campaign in the description, and when I get a chance, I like to support small and up-and-coming enterprises. And as is often the case, I'm very glad I did.Bottom line? WORTH THE SHOT.

not bad
its great but if i was you id by the jack with wires only no end for to use custom speakers if you use speakers thats better sound this sound system dose great also the speakers that comes with it is cheaply made very low durability so use a box speakers instead and buy a woofer thats much better for center output for pc its one side wire only this woofer is weakbut great replacement for front and back speakers on pc you can turn off the woofers by bass switch can use for center but you need to find a high watt woofer for theater quality sound

Good speakers
Nice design. Sound is as expected for desktop speakers. Product feedback - -Wish you could turn the unit on by tapping the top instead of picking the controller up and finding the little switch on the side. Might as well just have a remote. Would be nice to eliminate the blue light.

Great sound!
Big, bold sound from a small system. I tried two others and returned them after instant or delayed total failures. This one was a pleasant surprise.

Easy to set up and sound quality is good for computer speakers.
Works perfect and sounds good too. The only small complaint I have is the wires should be longer, but I made it work. I have another computer that I'm going to buy one of these for as well.

Impressive bass and volume, but disappointing controls and quality.
I bought these looking for an upgrade over my Logitech Z200s I've had for over 8 years (nothing wrong with them, just wanted something more powerful since I have a larger room after moving). I've had this speaker system for about 2 weeks now. Setup was pretty easy and straightforward. The speakers don't take up much room on my desk and the subwoofer doesn't get in the way under the desk. My initial impressions are quite mixed; I like the way my music sounds and I like how loud it can get, but I've got trouble hearing dialogue and the more nuanced sounds in games & movies as the bass and background music tend to drown everything else out. Also I feel like the balance is off with the left speaker not as strong as the right one but it might just be my imagination. I guess some more time will tell with these, but so far I'm wishing I spent more money on speakers that have better controls and look a little nicer on my desk.PROS:*Decent price - I got these on sale for $50. Pretty good value for powerful speakers that have a subwoofer.*Great bass - Very powerful sound from the subwoofer. These speakers make my sound activated LEDs around the room go nuts, which I love.*These get LOUD - The volume on these speakers can be cranked pretty high. You're going to lose some sound quality for sure but for the average person that wants super loud music, they're great.*Music sounds good - Its loud, bassy, and satisfying. Great for jamming to your favorite tunes. Its not the same as high end brands but for the price, its tough to beat.CONS:*Control Pad - By far, this is my biggest complaint with the speaker system. Holy heck, this thing is TERRIBLY designed. I have to pick it up to turn the speakers on or off. The On/Off switch is also impossible to use without changing the setting you had your volume at. You can barely tell what setting your volume is at unless its in a well-lit area. The bass is a separate little wheel on the side of the round controller and it has NO indicator to tell you where its set. This should have been a click on/off with the volume wheel.*Poor dialogue sound - Playing a game or watching a YouTube video is not what these are best at. The music and sound effects drown out the speech constantly, which means the settings need to be tweaked for every different game/movie/platform.*Materials feel cheap - The speakers themselves feel like very cheap plastic. Same for the subwoofer; I don't feel confident that these will last for years like my Logitech Z200s have.OVERALL: 3/5For $50, these are pretty good. So if you love loud, bass-filled music and are on a limited budget...these are a good choice. I can't overstate how much I hate the control unit on this system, it drives me nuts (I've had to put a velcro strip down to keep it from moving around when I turn the volume wheel up/down). Personally, I'd splurge for something a little higher-end if you have the budget as I don't think these are built to last and they're not very user-friendly.
