Belt is great but trying to sort out belts like this online ...
Belt is great but trying to sort out belts like this online was a royal pain. The only name I could see for this type of belt is a "web belt" although I also stumbled into the women's "invisible belt" category as well. Simply trying to figure out the width of these types of belts is a major challenge since this information is generally not clearly stated in descriptions. For reference this one measures exactly 1.58" at the plastic buckle and 1.18" at the elastic fabric itself. I liked the positive reviews of this one but it seemed like 95% of them were from consumers who were given a discount based on writing a review. I had to wonder if the large number of positive reviews were influenced by that fact.Turns out my own impressions were just as positive and no, I didn't get a damned thing for writing this review. On to my review...I needed something for some mountaineering pants I got from REI which are slightly loose on their own. The belt's stretch fabric is perfect, never letting me know I had the belt on no matter what the activity. The plastic buckle design is very well engineered for one finger release. Adjustment is extremely simple. The belt feels like it will last for a very long time. I'm a 33 waist and the belt fits well with plenty of room to adjust in either direction. Overall the belt looks very innocuous, like it came with the pants (exactly what I wanted)..

Hallelujah!
Probably most women experience what I do, buying bottoms that fit well except for the waist gap. Leather or any kind of belt that has no give tends to be uncomfortable and creates a very unflattering look so I went in search of belts with elastic. Unsuccessful in brick-and-mortar stores unless I wanted a wide belt. After reading the reviews on a number of belts similar this manufacturer seemed to have the best reviews for not being elastic that was too thin/weak. Have to say I am more than satisfied. Have worn my navy belt with several items I had that previously drove me crazy with the waste gap and now I am so happy. I just easily. And the buckle is as advertised, very smooth and flat also opens easily as stated. My only negative, and I decided it was not worth knocking off a star because these have made wearing my gappy pants so much better, is what I am pointing to in the photo. I have to allow time to thread the belt through as the clasp for the adjustment and the buckle are both just barely able to squeeze through the loops on the jeans style pants I have. It takes some wiggling to get them through but as I said, totally worth it. In my opinion the thickness/weight of the elastic is great. Definitely does the job and I highly recommend. As you can see I am now on two of these belts. After loving the navy I purchased a white one very quickly.

Yep... Not invisible
I have to be completely honest ...I can see it under my clothes... Yep not invisible ... And it loosens pretty easily with just a bit of activity. At first I was pretty pleased with it ( i.e. I was not bloated and shirts were really loose)...but after a few weeks it is losing its luster.

It's okay.
I hate the fact that my regular belt "shows" underneath my tops as a big bulky object! I was so excited to find this "invisible belt". I read the reviews and read one that showed a picture and said she could see it. Other reviews thought the belt to be great. I thought I'd give it a shot. Well, it IS noticeable. If you position the buckle over the button of your pants, where it's supposed to be, it does indeed stick out and is not invisible at all!. But I've compromised and since I wear shirts over my pants, I center the plastic buckle off to the side so it doesn't sit on top of the button of my pants. Doing this makes it less noticeable. I also have some pull-on capri's that are fabric in front and elastic in the back and I need a belt, so I kept this belt specifically because it should work fine with these.

Avoid the dreaded "Plumbers Crack" even if you are a girl.
Reasons I bought this belt:1. I am short, chubby, old and have no butt and refuse to wear elastic polyester "Granny Pants".2. Tired of buying t-shirts only to start seeing holes (which increase exponentially) on first wearing due to rollover friction against a metal buckle and eyelets. If I were a toothpick I wouldn't have the roll over issue but alas, I am normal and grateful.Received it 4 days ago and have worn it all day each day and I really love it thus far. I say thus far because of the great price I am waiting for something to break or stretch out but for now this is a FIVE STAR product! The only slightly negative was a little tight going through belt loops but doable. The pants (jeans) are a little tight going on too but also doable. The belt is adequately tight to keep the dreaded "Plumbers Crack" well hidden and can easily be adjusted. The buckle is flat, smooth and one click easy opens.Haven't purchased any new t-shirts yet but have about 30-40 with little starburst holes in the belly button area so if you need any rags, let me know.

Brilliant.
Does exactly what it says. You cant see it over tshirts and it expands with me. Brilliant.
