They are photographed, a page or so a piece, each accompanied by a written blurb of information and detailsA joyful book, a delight, paintings, sculpture, treasures all auctioned by Christie's. We are given insight into a world in which the the greatest galleries and richest patrons can indulge.Chanel's suit and Dumfries House, it's a slight read, annoyingly slight in places. Quality publishing, not a necessary book, yet a necessary purchase.
