Great amp!
This amp works great! We didn’t buy it for a boat but we are happy with it.!

PLEASE READ BEFORE SETUP!!!
This unit is fantastic and does everything it says. HOWEVER- the speaker outputs are mislabeled. 1 and 2 are BOTH left channel. 3 and 4 are both right channel. So pairings are 1 + 3 and 2 + 4. If you hook up to 1 and 2 like it’s labeled, yes you will get sound out of both speakers, but it will only be the left signal. (You can pan the balance all the way to the right to see you get no signal.) This massively degrades sound quality, bass levels, etc. This is a five star unit but it has such a fundamental labeling error that took an hour to diagnose, that I had to take off a star. Good luck with your setup!

Channel 4 D.O.A. Then Channel 3
Update (hours later). Channel 3 is now also dead. (6/5/2022)First off Channel 4 was DOA. Nothing but static and pops like a short. Took one speaker and a piece of two foot cable to test each Channel pos/neg terminals. First through third did fine. Fourth channel nada. Wondered if maybe they reversed the pos/neg terminals internally so touched the wires to the opposite terminals briefly while audio played through amp with the exact same result. Most likely an over soldered connection internally or worse. As far as Bluetooth connectivity. 50’ in a wide open space (like water and a boat) is about the only place this will reach anywhere close to 50’. I got 38’ from mine outside walking around a swimming pool. I’m using this under an upper deck so it’s accessible from the lower pool deck. During testing I went inside with phone in my pocket and it stopped. Walking around the pool to the deep end and it stopped again. Bluetooth connected seamlessly and auto-connects on power-up (Alexa smart plug to power it on for hands free) BUT it only seems to remember one Bluetooth connection. After my spouse hooked into it, my phone would no longer connect. Reconnected my phone and now it does not remember my spouse’s phone. Thought of changing over to a cheap fire tablet for DJ type set-up but for now I found an older model Echo in a cabinet so planning to place that next to the amp and stream so not having to worry who’s phone is connected and it stopping all the time for now.I’ve sent a request to Amazon to swap this unit for another exact same model. If it works without issue I will update to a 4-star. If it’s DOA it will change to a 1 star for lack of proper quality control procedures. “Yep it lit up!” Is not quite enough testing in my humble opinion.

Not nearly as good as expected, Bluetooth stinks!
While this amp is a very compact size and was simple to set up I have great difficulty in believing that it's putting out 400 watts. I have two very nice Polk Audio outdoor speakers perfectly positioned above my deck and I really expected this thing to crank out some volume for large parties. Sadly, it doesn't come close to my expectations. The Bluetooth connectivity is also very weak; I'm currently sitting at my desk inside the house overlooking the deck. I'm exactly 14 feet from the amp (12' across and 2' feet inside) and if I set my phone on my desk (which is right up against the window) it loses the signal. If I then pick up my phone and hold it in the window it will reconnect. This is NOWHERE NEAR the 50' range they claim this has! Also, the description indicates a separate subwoofer connection but I am at a loss to find that. So, while I'm relatively happy with the purchase, if it wasn't such a good price I'd probably return it.This is an addendum to above: the Bluetooth connectivity is absolutely AWFUL. First connection went just fine but ever since it WILL NOT reconnect! The only workaround is to go into Bluetooth settings, select “forget this device”, then turn Bluetooth off and then back on and then, once again, pair the device. Then, if I walk inside the house I’ll lose the connection and when I walk back out I have to do it all over again! Wow, what a load of crap.2nd addendum: This thing just keeps getting worse! I have my 2 speakers connected to 1 channel L and 2 channel R, I have sound out of both speakers BUT IT IS NOT STEREO! I just played a very familiar song with distinct left and right channels and I could only hear one side of the music but through both speakers. What is the deal with this thing???????????????????????????????3rd addendum: I'm now on my second unit since that seems to be all that Pyle could think to do. No one bothered to answer my questions about proper connections in order to get stereo sound and just said that I ought to return it as it must be defective. What in fact IS defective is the ludicrous manner in which Pyle has decided to label the speaker connections on this device. It SEEMS that I ought to connect one speaker to 1CH/L and another to 2CH/R but that is on fact NOT correct. I've included an edited photo in order to assist others in making sense of proper connections for stereo sound. As shown, to get stereo sound you need to connect BOTH speakers to either the left or right connections but NOT one to the right and another to the left. This is truly idiotic, and even after I asked for tech support as to how to properly connect my speakers I received nothing but an apology. It was only after trying what appeared to be a totally wrong arrangement did I finally get actual stereo sound. I hope this helps others avoid some frustration!
