Good soft white MR16
This bulb met my expectations. Very bright but not blinding. A slightly yellow tint as with any 2700k led. I have not used the dimmer feature.

Not dimmable
I am happy with this purchase. I am only giving it 4 stars because the discription states “dimmable”...they are not dimmable unfortunately. They still work in the highest setting so I am ok with them. They are not “warm” in color and they do not give off a lot of heat either which is great. I was looking for led bulbs so it would not get so hot.

We replaced the UBER hot & expensive halogens on my moms stove hood with these
Mom needed a new vent hood, but the nicer ones had halogen lights in them. After much deliberation, we decided to buy the nicer hood & use these in it. My mom wanted a light option that was environmentally sound but not hot, so after reading all the other reviews & checking to make sure they would be safe, we tried these out & they work like a charm on my moms Broan Glacier BCSD series stove hood vent.... as long as she doesn't lose the little suction cup to change them we are good! (FYI they won't work on the sealed "lifetime" bulbs (yeah right?!?) on the BCDF series).AND bonus they are also the bulbs needed for her new over the sink lighting... God it was hard to find a light where the bulbs were not hardwired into the fixture... WHAT IS UP WITH THAT?? You have to change the ENTIRE fixture if the bulb burns out? Whose brilliant idea was that? AND that is now the standard... buyer beware. check to see if that nifty fixture can have its bulbs replaced. We had to replace 4 (FOUR!!!) fixtures that were installed 2 years ago in her home because NONE of the bulbs could be changed and she certainly can't get on a ladder & replace a hardwired fixture at 84. A light bulb, yes; A fixture, NO!

Great on high, flicker on low
I used these bulbs to replace 4 halogen bulbs over my range. The halogen bulbs burned out over a short time. I thought that the LED bulbs would las longer and use less power. With the switch on high the bulbs are bright and look good. On low the bulbs flicker and no one can stand it. So we just use these bulbs on high. The literature says they use less power which sounds right for LED bulbs. I've only had few a few months, so its too early to say if the longevity is good.

Fabulous replacement to the ridiculously expensive GE replacement bulb. A few dollars verse US$99 plus shipping.

Good but the dimming is not great
Good lights, great warm colour but the dimming curve is not great.

Flickers when dimmed
I installed these in my hood fan and they work great when on full brightness, but when dimmed they have a noticeable flicker.

Brightness as advertised
Giving 4 stars as needs to do longevity, brightness is good as advertised.Will submit more updates after atleast 6 months of use.
