Scans codes on Phones
I got this because we use a handheld scanner but when people show up with their card on their phone it wouldn't work. This product works perfectly and even reads all the weird sized printouts our clients show up with - from over sized to tiny it reads them all. It has made our organization more efficient and our client love being able to wave their phone at it and have it scan. I purchased 3 more!

The media could not be loaded. I especially like the fact that users don't need to press any button or hold a scanner in their hand. Will not scan barcodes from Phone Screens
Does not work on phone screens.

Disappointed with the product, found other scanners much better.
Found it did not scan as easily as other models within the price range. Was really disappointed with this product.

Worked with my Raspberry PI 3B in keyboard mode
This device seems flimsy and might not last forever. It did however start streaming keyboard input to a text editor on my Raspberry PI as soon as I connected it. It seems to scan continuously, so all you need to do is to move the phone with the QR in front of it. No problems positioning the QR. The "User guide" contains bar codes that can be used to turn on/off sounds (in Chinese English: "Open" / "Close" sounds). It reads regular bar codes from product packaging as well.

No manual included
No manual (Just a quick guide that does not help at all) and the manuals are password protected on their website. (WHY?!?!?!) No luck getting ahold of customer service so far, looking like a return for me.
