This is the biggest float valve I have ever seen. I actually used it to make the top of a sorceress staff for my wife so can't attest to it's floating ability but I would say probably pretty good!

No tapped at all!
Ball seems to be fine, other than it was never tapped. I was expecting a 5/16" female tapped hole, instead it looks like the final process of tapping never happened.
