Honestly it wasn't so bad to take apart and put back together. The battery worked great and kept a destroyed phone alive long enough to do a backup. The provided tool kit has everything you need to get the battery fit in place in less than an hour. of this is something you need then it's hard to go wrong with this.

IPhone 8s practically sell for the same cost as a battery replacement now so I thought I’d give it a shot! It took about an hour but it’s worth the time and the battery works perfectly. Make sure you reconnect the short home button connector strip which is hidden underneath the long display connector strip. The first time I didn’t know it was there and didn’t connect home button strip which resulted in Touch ID and home button haptics not working. Hope this helps! Go slow and be very careful with the screws.

Not very hard to replace, but the battery itself is so so. After barely one year of replacement, you can feel the battery life has gone down, and it overheat quite offen. But it's not bad to extend your phone lifespan one or two more years at this affordable price anyway

Better than original

Original battery in iPhone lasted for many years but finally was depleted and needed to be recharged evrey day with normal usage. Originally purchased this battery in 2021 because it had a rating of 2,780 mAH with the byline, "Upgraded Phone Battery". A battery with this rating should power iPhone 8 for 3-5 days with normal usage. I hcad this battery professionally installed in 2022. Seemed to last longer than 1 day(without recharge) for the first week or so and then it was just as depleted as the OEM battery I had replaced.

My only issue is the battery adhesive shouldn't have adhesive in the middle of the battery and it should have pull tabs on each end.

Instillation was a little tricky, but got it done.All tools were provided.A link to video instructions was given (of course one needs another phone or computer)The Apple store would have done it for $50 plus their cost of new battery.I am now happy that my iPhone 8 works as good as new.

This battery is amazing, my phone has been using it for about 3-4 months now and for someone who uses their phone for around 11 hours per day it’s still able to hold battery just as good as when I installed it. I would definitely suggest this battery over an apple battery any day.
