Nintendo 3DS XL Battery Replacement SPR-003 (NOT COMPATIBLE WITH REGULAR 3DS)

Product didn’t match the picture. The product I received the writing is vertical not horizontal. There is no blue square like pictured above. Needed to be charged. Otherwise worked great.

Burned out the built-in one by playing Animal Crossing while leaving the charger attached. DO NOT LEAVE THE CHARGER ATTACHED. Just charge it for a couple hours, unplug it, and use it. Charger, if left in while playing, can cause battery overload or leaking, so had to get a replacement. Works fine. Learned my lesson :)

Realized that my old battery wasn't holding a charge well. New battery arrived in a timely manner. It works great, holding a charge that can last until about a week depending on how much you play and whether you play DS and/or 3DS games.

Is $10 worth it? When I bought it from Amazon through AWGame, the battery was encased in an overkill box and bubble padding for the size of the actual item (just the battery inside of a specially made ziplock baggy with the item details and "new" written on it). Battery itself is in as you'd expect, new or like new condition. I don't know if it's truly new until probably a month or two in to using it with my New 3DS XL, if there is any changes, I'll be sure to give a write up of what happened.My old battery was starting to bulge after 10 months of use (Since April of 2016 when I originally bought the N3DS), and considering this battery has a different markup than the original (the new has the same markup as the pictures shown here and on Nintendo's shop), it might have fixed a few things internally. Just gave it a charge to full capacity and was able to play Monster Hunter Generations for several hours. So far, so good!This SPR-003 N3DS battery was purchased for myself to replace my old N3DS SPR-003 battery.

This isn't a real nintendo battery but it seems to do the job....ill give an update on hour life span after a few recharges with it!

I had a 3DS XL (new-version with "C" stick) with a battery that would not hold a charge. Nintendo wasn't stocking the battery on the Nintendo Store any more, so I had to go 3rd party. Amazon to the rescue!I was nervous that this might be a knock off or cheap clone battery, but it seems to be genuine. The only odd thing is the "VOID IF REMOVED" sticker.I've had the battery almost a week and it seems to last just as long as my old battery (when it was in it's prime!).

So it is diff than the one in the picture and the ones another people have received, my friend who received the package sent me those pics and i was comparing to my 3DS main one that has no longer usage bc it is "pumped" and i see it is very similar, even has the Nintendo logo on it and the R from "Registered", so if it was an original one idk if the price worth it, but i hope it works and have not received a Chinese pirate copy.
