Connecting ThreadsBeginner Quilt Kit - Half-Square Triangle Fun (Rainbow)

Now I have a million 2in squares I'm new and didn't understand the cutting part I thought it would already be precut like the last one I ordered. Anyways the colors are beautiful and ill definitely try to make this with them squares or I'll just use the fabric for another project any way win win

My first time at piecing a quilt. Directions are clear for piecing and placement. For the actual quilting go to youtube for more instructions. I used low loft batting and two yards of 44 inch wide fabric for backing. This kept the bulk to a minimum for quilting. The fabric is nice quality and the colors are beautiful. I found that I did not like the cutting of the fat quarters. I am will be making the quilt again, so I purchased 5 inch charms and a jelly roll directly from Connecting Threads.

have been ordering for a few years now. have never been disapointed. the fabric is as fine as any I get anywhere. the price is on line -or less- than elsewhere. my favorite store

Can't really write a review because I have not sewn this quilt top together. It does look like it will be a challenge, but I am willing to tackle it.

There is a good amount of fabric and it coordinates very well. I actually bought it for the fabric to use in a different project but the pattern is also easy to follow and gives you a few variations on the pattern. This is my 3rd kit I have purchased from connecting threads. I hope they come out with more kits.
