How To Crochet: A Complete Guide for Absolute Beginners

I liked the easy instructions on following how to crochet , I especially loved the colorful pictures which was easy to see and follow. I would recommend this book to a beginner crocheter like me!

I purchased for a Christmas present for my co-worker because she wants to learn the basics of crocheting.

I have not crochet for many years. I wanted a book that would refresh my memory. This book does the trick. It is extremely basic. I was shocked when I pulled the book out of the mailer and saw the .75 cent price tag on it.

Perfect guide for beginners.

I bought this to give to my grandson who wanted to learn to crochet. I am teaching him, but wanted him to have a " back up book". I wish I woul have known that it was based on European terms and names for the basic stitches. It has confused him some.

I have looked at multiple beginner crochet books, including Michael's. This book is the easiest and most complete and at a respectable price. Great pictures, easy step by step instructions, variety of stitches, multiple patterns, explanation of yarns and needles, and breakdown of terminology. Highly recommend for teens to adults. If you are looking for just one book to get started to see if you like crocheting without a huge investment this is the book to get. If you are looking to expand or refresh your knowledge, I recommend this book as well.

This book was is such a great help to ppl new to crochet. Step by step instructions with pictures, I love it!

I love to crochet and my granddaughter does to but does not know all the stitches nor can she read a pattern. I am self taught, and she lives 5 hours away from me. This is the perfect book for her to further her crochet skills, besides the stitches etc, it also has a few easy patterns for her to practice on. Great learning tool. Purchased by Grandma not Grandpa :)

Lots of good pictures and instructions for those who have never crocheted before. Also good for those of us who haven't crocheted in a long time, and have maybe forgotten some of the stitches!

This book was easy to understand. I learnt how to crochet about 30+ years ago and this book was a great as it gave step by step instructions.
