Durable and keeps my chicken coop cooler, this is a great shade

It fits perfectly on the top of my dog's crate providing a nice shade for the dogs

We have four young hens in a run but the sun has been very intense and directly overhead so they could never find a spot completely out of the sun, so we bough this shade fabric to protect them. The bungee balls made it very easy to attach to the deck rails. We then stretched it across the top of the run and down the far side of the pen. It was easy to attach to the goat wire and the gate and the coop. It provides plenty of shade but still allows fresh air in. The hens are happy now that they can run around the pen at all times of the day.

I ordered this as an alternative after I got scammed on a custom shade that I ordered from another company. This is larger than what I needed (6x8 as opposed to 4x6), but I figured I might be able to fold it in half and make it work.The package arrived much sooner than anticipated, which I am grateful for. Kudos to the seller on that point! The product seems well constructed and the material is of nice quality, but it has one major, irritating flaw: it's extremely crooked! One side is a good 6+ inches longer than the other, and trying to hang it frustrated the life out of me.I kept thinking it was me and I didn't have it level, but after getting out a plane, I finally figured out that the darn thing is just lopsided. It's hanging between two posts on my porch, so I tried to lower it on one side to make the grain of the fabric appear straight; but then I had material enough to wrap around a post on one side and not enough material left on the other side. Doubling it was impossible so I gave up that idea, and finally, about four hours later, I gave up altogether. So there it hangs, looking less than appealing, but there is just no way to adjust it so that the two different lengths are not obvious. I also have no idea how much it will cool that area since I was out there until well after noon. Perhaps, that will be a positive addenda to this story. Time will tell.****I'm writing this addenda because this product, while not esthetically appealing, has done much to cool my porch and create a breezeway, making the area being shaded cooler and very pleasant at any time of the day. My porch is now one of my favorite places to spend the morning and afternoon, and not only has this made the temperatures far more comfortable, but it adds a great deal of privacy to the area. I've changed the star rating to 4 from 3. Still can't give it a 5 because it's crooked, but it certainly does what it is supposed to do. (08/06/20)

These are good. They hold up well, shade well while still allowing my security camera to see the full area.

This product is well made and quite dense. I used it to block the bright porch light of my neighbors shinning in my bedroom window all night. It installed easily with the 12 bungie cord things. It has stayed intact, just how I installed it, through several Santa Ana windstorms.

The grommets and bungee balls are so handy and adaptable in various applications. I was a little concerned that the 90% might block too much sun and I knew I needed more than 50% for my garden spot. I was glad that I went with the 90% to block the western sun from my tomato plants. It kept them cooler and they were able to set fruit well into the summer.

This works very well to keep out sun rays for our outdoor patio

We were looking to replace an existing screen and this is a perfect fit for our needs. Love the ease of the bungee attachment.

Works great! Easy to install. We’re on our 3rd summer and it still is working great!
