Great mag for a great price
This is my first time using a resin mag, I've only used it on a few jobs but it seems to work great. I'm sure I'll learn how to use it more efficiently with some practice, but it does a great job of getting a nice creamy surface on almost set concrete making it super easy to get a perfect finish. I will be purchasing more.

This is supposed to replace resin and wood trowels. Finishers usually base their choice of hand trowel or float on the mud and the desired workable time as well as the type of finish. When working with sticky mud (water reducers, high fly ash content) this trowel is pretty awesome. I bought it on a whim and now it is my go to trowel, not to mention how easy it is to clean. Just ordered the bull float.

just pure awesome
Let me start by saying my trowel buckets are like a marshaltown and kraft store. I have so many different trowel and floats and the k20 plastic is my go to float. this thing opens mud up and cuts easy like a resin float when running flat then you put aome angle on it and it leaves it close to the way a magnesium does. best of both worlds seriously. just throw your mag away if you buy this (you know what just throw your mag away anyway that thing is a waste of time i dont know anyone with over 5 years experience that still uses one, and when i see the younger guys smashin mud around when they need to be cutting it flat im always like put that pos away and get a wood or resin float (or orange thunder) and tgey always have some idiotic thing to say like "i like it" or "im using this because..." i hate that backchat its like you dont know what your doing, im telling you how to do it right and youre telling me why youre doing it wrong... this float is the money though i highly recomend it. heck an 18" would be even better but i will say these are a little heavy so i still carry wood on the rare occasion im rodding concrete, im a bit above that nowadays i coordinate and lead guys mostly, when i jump in i crush in front of theyre scared hands to show them how fast they should be going, what they should be leaving, and how to accomplish that. since i got the orange thunder a couple years ago i never use my resin except my 20" when i want the length. i have a 3' orange thunder darby orderd and we have a bullfloat at work as well. we only use it rarely as were on the oregon coast and have time usually to bullfloat with mag. doesnt get to hot or cold here and theres not too many people. hold on you know what its terrible here and you wouldnt like it, never visit!

Does it work?
Hells yeah it's gonna work( using it tomorrow at 6 am). I'm excited to see how clean it stays . *EDIT- gotta make sure you turn the edge up BEFORE going back the other way. The center is actually slightly concave -- wrong way, . I had to grind my edges down on mine and that was pretty tough. Hard durable materials. Brings up great creme. Cleans easily.
