Lovely decorative shelves
Really love these shelves!Put two up on one wall, and one on a different wall. They look lovely and decorative, but are quite lightweight, so I wouldn’t attempt putting anything too heavy on them. I don’t think the shelves would necessarily bow under a slightly heavier load, but as they are hanging from a single hook, I wouldn’t want chance it. That said, I do keep my red Chinese evergreen on one of them, and it seems to be fine thus far. Transferred it to a plastic pot to reduce weight a little, and I’ve had no trouble. Just need to be mindful of how I arrange things on the shelf, so it balances right. The shelves were easy to assemble, just threading the cord through the pre-drilled holes and tying knots. I did double knot the ends that were going closer to the wall, as the cord that is going through the holes further out from the wall needs to be slightly longer to make the shelves hang at a right angle to the wall.I do wish that the copper-y coloured hanging hoops the shelves came with had been more like wrought iron in colour, as I think it would have matched the faux dark oak colour of the shelves better, but that is - of course - just personal preference, and I can easily get some hoops in my choice of colour later on, if I want to.I ended up using a self adhesive hook for one of the shelves, as I don’t think the picture hooks that came with the shelves would have been possible to attach to a brick wall. It’s not the prettiest solution, but will do until I can get my masonry drill out to put a proper hook in.Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase, and it’s been really nice putting some things up on my wall!

Easy to hang and look great
These floating string shelves are just lovely! We are renting so not allowed to drill into the walls or change the wallpaper etc and I was fed up looking at bare walls. These shelves are simple to put up and because of the small pin used to hang it won't damage the walls!Great value for money and definitely makes the room feel more homely.Would not hesitate to recommend.

These are exactly as stated in the description, and a great way to add some colour to any room! Very easy to hang up and great for showing off plants and candles.Very good value for money and they look really nice abd stylish ! Only slight negative is you can see some of the glue on the ropes underneath but only on really close inspection! However I would recommend. Value for money!

Look great in any room
Love these in my bathroom. Very chic looking and hold a lot of items. Very sturdy too and easy to hand up. Can be placed in any room and good quality as well as well made. It took me 10mins to assemble and 5mins to hang up. Can be put up separately or as 2, one above and one below.

Pleasantly surprised
I must say I didn't expect much when I ordered this, but works perfectly. I needed to put shelving on a wall where there is only a thin stud wall with plaster board, this worked perfectly. It's strong enough to hold two orchids is ceramic pots. Looks like a nice and has a rustic feel to it.

Useful shelves & easy to assemble for triangular version
I decided to go for the harder version and decided to hang them straight up (ie: Not using the triangle) My decor is square ( Pictures, earring rack etc) in my bedroom) no I thought I would try a different way to hang them and am pleased with the results.Hanging them using the triangular method is by far a lot easier but after tying the knots on the 1st shelf a good tip is to make the knot in the back ones (The ones nearest the wall) a bit higher up as the shelf sits better against the wall. As you can see from the photos, I cut off the excess string from the back ones to even it out. Now, upon then deciding that I didn't like the look of it (In a triangular shape as mentioned above) I undid it all and went for the straight up hanging method. The middle knots were by far the hardest to get right as you have to tie them before threading through the shelf. This took me the longest to get right but I was determined to persist!I chose to hang them from different hooks near the ceiling and I am pleased with the results! I had the fake plants already and once balanced on the shelves, look quite effective. They are in the corner of my bedroom wall which would not ordinarily get enough light for real plants. (I have loads of real ones elsewhere anyway) A good way of adding some instant greenery! For what they are, they are fairly good value for money but if you were a DIY enthusiast, you could knock this up yourself with some pieces of painted wood and rope.
