Python 4103P Remote Start System

I have not been able to install this yet, but with DEI products, you can't go wrong.

I have had this for a very long time and it's still working good. Sometimes it takes a couple presses to get it to work, but that just might be old remotes. I use it on a 04 Honda Civic only for keyless entry, but after some research, you can add modules to this and make it practically do anything that the new alarms can do. it's got lots of room to grow. It's also part of the DEI group so you know it's good stuff. I got it at a great price too.

The Python 413 is a decent entry-level remote starter, especially when combined with the Xpresskit DB-ALL bypass module. It allows for several options, including Smart Start. BEWARE, however, that range is LIMITED to a few hundred feet when using the remote from indoors. Isn't that the whole idea?

my old one worked so I sent that one back

I had this starter installed on 12/31/14. The only problem I have had with it is that it will start on its own. This has happened 6 times now. After 3 times I took it back to the installer who changed the button that starts the vehicle from pushing it once to pushing it twice. I went back to the installer and complained again. He took the manual and I guess reset something and now we will see. Actually to start the vehicle you first have to lock the doors and then push the start button twice before it should start. The doors do not have to be locked for it to start now. If this readjusting of the setting don't work I will demand a new unit as this is very dangerous to someone working on the engine. Have had several remote starters and never had this problem.
