Easy to read and understand and good images
This product was exactly what I expected and extremely useful for those going to ranger school or trying to brush up on small unit tactics.

This is a great book for anyone who wants to learn about first ...
This is a great book for anyone who wants to learn about first aid, mountaineering, and survival techniques. It will also allow a person to train other people in the tactic of evasion, leadership, demolition, patrols and communication. I am retired military and these things are still being taught todays soldiers. Hey if it is not broken why fix it? I like the book.

Very happy with the purchase.
The book is very good quality, binding is solid. It is smaller than the 8x10 size so it is very convenient to carry around. The printing is great. Couldn't be happier!

Blank Page Space
I recommend getting the square dimensioned book. The print in this one is the same size (very small), but there is just more blank page space. I guess it depends on what you want to do with it. If you want it on a book shelf, this one might be nice, but if you want to carry it around with you in a pocket, get the smaller square one!

Small enough to pack
I am in ROTC. This book helps with all lessons and gives new insights to think about. It is small enough to put in a ruck sack to not weigh it down like the text book. Highly recommend

Ahh Government Litterature
I got this book because I needed a reputable source for a claim I made in a history term paper.********************************************************************************************************************My argument supported the idea that Francis Marion, an American Revolutionary War Lt. Colonel who used guerrilla tactics against the British (think Mel Gibson's character, Benjamin Martin, in "The Patriot"), changed the conventional concept of war then, and continues to be relevant today. Although not a profound piece of the revolution's success, the strategy became the basis of what we would call special operations. He is considered one of the forefathers of the US Army Rangers.********************************************************************************************************************It is a handbook in the truest sense. All technical with no soul. Even as a history major with a profound interest in the US military, it was a bore. I thought it would be interesting but it really wasn't. Read INSIDE DELTA FORCE by Eric Haney. You get the operational knowledge with the benefit of a story to frame it.
