Bought because specs stated it works with 15amp circult
Paid slightly more for this model because the specs stated it used less amperage than other similar models. Older home with 15amp circuit shared with other devices including refrigerator I have set it to it's max setting with the refrigerator compressor running without tripping the breaker. This replaced a older model that would run continuously if the knob was turned all the way counter clockwise past the off position, which can be very dangerous in a household with careless people. It's not possible to do that with this model. Other than that it's easy to use and stylish.

Temperature issues
I’ve owned this oven for about a year. I wanted to use it for a while before I wrote a review. After a week, the interior light of my first oven broke, so I got a replacement. That made me worried, but the second one has been working fine.I immediately noticed the oven was hotter than it should have been because my food burned quickly. So what I usually do is to set the temperature to one setting below the suggested temperature. If it’s 400F, I put it to 375F, and it works fine. The oven has 12 cooking modes with preset temperatures/times. You can adjust them, but the temperature moves every 25 degrees up or down. You can’t set the temperature precisely, which was a disappointment. Also, the lowest cooking temperature is 250F. Dehydrate/Keep warm modes have lower settings, but you have no setting option between 200F and 250F.Air Fry mode works excellently. It cooks food fast, and the interior light is very helpful for checking the cooking progress.Overall, it’s a good Air Fryer/Oven, but if you want to control it precisely, you may want to get a different oven.

Best Kitchen Small Appliance
I was on the hunt for a PTFE/PFAS free appliance to replace the toxic one I had. It was really difficult to find an appliance that was 100% chemical free, as most have nonstick coating on the inside. This one doesn’t even come with a CA Prop65 warning (which is how I knew it fit the requirements I had). It is worth every penny! The only con I have is you can’t customize the “air fry” temperature (i .e. can’t set it to 380°, only 375°) but i just adjust the temp and time.Would 100% purchase this again and recommend it to anyone who is transitioning to nontoxic kitchen items!

Temperature control is awful, electronics get too hot
The short of it: Avoid this unit, I regret my purchase. We bought this on sale during Prime's summer sale. One of the major drawbacks of this unit is the fact that it really, really overshoots the temperature when heating up on the standard "bake" settings. After running a bake cycle per the instructions, we tried it out a couple of times. In one instance we set the temperature to 450deg F and noticed things were starting to burn extremely fast. Using a handheld infrared temperature gun, saw the inside heat up to well over 550deg F. This continued for over 10 minutes with no letup on the power delivered to the heating units. We had to lower to 350deg, open the door, and then it started to cool to a reasonable temperature.Setting this any higher than 375F makes it climb near 500F. It seems that once 400F is hit, it just stops being accurate. In fact, it got so hot that the included metal sheet pan WARPED that we had placed in it. So hot it started to change color. The warping returned to normal after it had cooled down.During this time the touch controls also got extremely hot, so much that the they eventually STOPPED WORKING. The unit then shut itself off. Unplugging and then replugging it up didn't allow the controls to work again. It wasn't until the unit was fully cooled did unplugging and replugging allow it to operate as it once did. Obviously some type of safety design with a thermal shutoff, but this happens ROUTINELY.Given that, we tried some other functions and I will say with these, the unit seems to work as intended. The good:- Dehydration - Works well, we were able to dry fruit over 24 hours. However, the fan is noisy and starts to rattle after a few hours. The unit only reaches 150F, so it seems to be happy with that.- Toast - Works as expected, but takes about twice the time as a regular toaster. This is expected as there is more volume to heat up.- Air Fry - Works as intended.- Broil - Does the job.We haven't used the pizza, veggies, or other specialized settings yet.The bad:- Convection - It too overshoots. The fan also rattles over time.- Bake - As explained above it is a crap shoot for what the temperature might actually be.- The digital controls are finicky and don't always respond to touches. They also get EXTREMELY hot when the unit is in use. So much you may actually burn yourself.Overall, avoid this. I am past my return date, and I wish I had tested it more thoroughly before the period ended. I may use my warranty to get a unit that actually works correctly, but I doubt anything can be done for the digital control flaws. They seem to have designed this without any mitigation for the electronics getting too hot. Heat rises right?
