Fun, interesting mechanics, great art
Amazing, fun, easy to learn. I can't say enough good things about this game, I play it all the time with friends and it gets deeper strategy-wise the more you engage with its mechanics. To me this is a home run

Fun Card Game!
I played this with some friends when their 7-year-old was excited to teach us how to play. My 7-year-old loved it so naturally we ordered our own copy. The game is simple. You have a couple actions to take each turn and you must assemble a team of every class or defeat 3 monsters. It requires some luck using 2 dice but also a bit of strategy. We had a blast and my so. Was able to come up with a combo move to beat me quickly. He used magic to mask one of his heroes and then destroyed another one of mine with another spell and then used ANOTHER spell to retrieve my dead hero from the discard pile.I was quite impressed. This game is a light and easy game to pick up and if a 7-year-old can master it and beat someone 6 times their age then anyone can learn to play it and have some fun! My son loved the graphics, names of creatures, and the variety of cards and was excited to learn expansion packs exist. My only complaint was that the plastic wrap on the deck of cards seemed rather tight and the cards were slightly warped to start but shuffling straightened that out after our first play.

Perfect quick game
Love this game! Great images, fun and very good price for a very re-playable game. One of the cards is really funny and makes me chuckle every time I get it.

Perfect Blend of Strategy and Chaos
This game has been a hit with my mixed group of casual and hardcore gamers. The RPG-lite elements (like building a party of animal heroes) add just enough narrative fun, while the dice-rolling and sabotage mechanics keep every round unpredictable. What Makes It Shine:Quick setup/playtime (~30 minutes) ideal for weeknightsAdorable art with surprisingly deep strategyExpansion-ready (we added the Berserker pack later)Balanced for all players – Newbies won’t feel overwhelmed

Great game provides endless hours of entertainment
I bought this because it reminded me of a mix up between D&D and Magic the gathering. Played it for family game night . Really enjoyed it, we had a blast once we started getting the rules, and the card specials.

Pretty Good Novelty Game but Warriors & Druids should have been part of base pack
Base Game: Adorable artwork. Some cards have some fun references to culture. It's a quick game to learn and doesn't take long to play, making it a great "warm up" for game nights. I'm not sure how it will hold up over time as winning is pretty simple and 'adorable' can't carry a game long term. I saw one review suggested a house rule that winning requires both a full party (all 6 classes for base game or 7 of the 8 for expansion) and 3 monsters, which is a great idea.Expansion: Warriors and Druids are great, but who makes a game with adorable animals and makes the wolves an expansion pack?? They are one of the most popular animals. The expansion pack isn't expensive per se, but you're only geting about 30 new cards total, and this pack doesn't substantially change or enhance the game. There are few new game devices (some wolf heroes can hold two items and the Druids are a "low roll to succeed" when using a power). Expansion packs should extend the playability/honeymoon-period of a game, but in this case it's only a slight extension.TLDR: I'd call this a fun novelty game (better than most novelty games) with adorable art. If you love the game concept or wolves/deer, go for the expansion, but it isn't necessary.

A Fun and Strategic Card Game for the whole family
I recently picked up Unstable Games - Here to Slay, and it has quickly become one of our go-to games for game night! If you’re a fan of strategy, humor, and a bit of friendly competition, this is a must-have.1. Easy to Learn, but Strategically DeepThe game is really easy to pick up, which is great for both beginners and more experienced gamers. The objective is simple: build your party of heroes and monsters while trying to be the first to slay a monster or be the last one standing. However, the strategic depth is where it shines. You need to think carefully about the cards you play, how you build your team, and when to take risks.2. Fun and Unique CharactersThe game features a variety of fun characters (heroes and monsters), each with its own abilities and quirky personalities. The cards are full of humor, which makes gameplay even more enjoyable. My friends and I have had a great time making funny combos and using special abilities to outsmart each other!3. Great ReplayabilityEvery game of Here to Slay feels different thanks to the random nature of the cards. With so many different heroes, monsters, and abilities, no two games are ever the same. It’s easy to see this becoming a replayable favorite for our group. Plus, the base game already has a good amount of variety, and there are expansions available if you want to add even more content.4. Fun for 2 to 6 PlayersThis game works well whether you’re playing with just a couple of people or a larger group. It’s easy to scale, and the dynamics change based on how many players are involved, making it fun for any group size.5. Quick Play TimeAnother great thing about Here to Slay is that it doesn’t take hours to play. A typical game lasts between 30-45 minutes, making it perfect for a quick game night or as part of a longer game session.Final ThoughtsIf you’re looking for a strategic card game that’s easy to learn, fun to play, and offers a lot of variety, Unstable Games - Here to Slay is an excellent choice. It’s a perfect blend of strategy, humor, and excitement that everyone can enjoy. Highly recommend it!Pros:Easy to learn, but plenty of strategic depthFun, humorous characters and abilitiesGreat replayability with varied gameplayWorks well for 2 to 6 playersQuick, fun game time (30-45 minutes)Con:Can be a bit chaotic with larger groups, but that's part of the fun!
