loaded with fiber, easy on teeth, nice by the handful or as a cereal, or added to yogurt
Yum! Lightly sweet pellets that are easy on the teeth. Not too sweet; just right. I dont need it sweet, but this little bit of added cane sugar does make it taste extra nice.Tastes good directly from box as a snack, or consumed as a cereal, or my fave: added to a bowl of plain (or any flavor) yogurt with a handful of berries. Goodly amount of fiber per 3/4 cup serving. I usually eat 1 serving, sometimes closer to 2 depending on how I am eating it. Good stuff. Love being able to buy a multi packIngredients:Organic wheat bran, organic oat fiber, organic cane sugar, organic psyllium seed husk, organic barley malt extract, organic oat bran, organic whole oat flour, sea salt.

A Delicious Way to Enjoy More Fiber
I was very pleasantly surprised when I first tried Smart Bran. I love its crunchy texture and great flavor, all the more because it is low in sodium and low in sugar without resorting to using Aspartame. The fact that all of the ingredients are organic is a definite health plus. I have been eating Fiber One original (the "twigs") for years because it seemed to be the only really high fiber cereal (14 grams)and was not loaded with sugar in one form or another. It is sweetened with Aspartame, however, contains corn oil, guar gum and a few other less-than-desireable ingredients, and is primarily corn bran. Smart Bran is composed of Oat Bran which has been shown to help reduce high cholesterol. I haven't heard anything about corn bran in that regard. Smart Bran also contains psyllium in a very tasty form & works great for keeping the lower digestive track functioning efficiently. I mix a rounded quarter cup of Smart Bran with fresh fruit and cottage cheese for my breakfast most mornings and find it's a great way to start the day. Buying it through Amazon in a 6 pack saves me more than $1.50 per box over local supermarket prices, and I don't have to worry about it being out of stock. I highly recommend Smart Bran, and look forward to incorporating it in my baking as well.

Best Fiber Cereal I’ve Found
I found this cereal at Publix originally. They stopped carrying, so I looked to see if Amazon had. Obviously they do, and buying the case of six boxes is more economical, than what I was paying at Publix. I have a recurring delivery, and it always arrives on schedule, with no problems. I like the taste and texture better than other high fiber cereals I’ve tried. I usually mix it with another cereal that has more flavor. It mixed in well, and only adds to the taste of what I mix it with. I like that it’s a truly clean cereal, with 17grams of fiber. It’s an easy way to meet daily fiber intake, and keeps me regular. I never feel bloated either after eating it.

Guaranteed to keep you regular
I grew up eating whole grain products so I actually like the taste but for someone who is accustomed to white flour and corn flakes, this may take some getting used to. It is nothing that a little honey or agave nectar cannot fix. However, the taste is not why I am excited about this cereal. This cereal is FULL of fiber. Over 50% of your daily amount in 1/2 cup. It also has psyllium in the cereal so I make sure to drink a glass or two of water immediately after eating it. I have tried psyllium alone in the past and it seems to have the opposite effect on me but with this cereal, I assume because it is mixed in with other things, it easier to pass. I was eating more in the way of Paleo because of some skin issues and was wondering why things were not as regular as they should be. Now I know why. Not enough fiber in my diet. The other huge bonus is that it is organic. The order arrived on time and packed perfectly. This will be a regular purchase for me. Again, make sure you drink some water after eating this cereal to make sure things are moving along freely.

Crispy tasty texture
Great product. Love it with almond milk. The packing of six boxes is a problem. The tape used binds the boxes together so tightly, I can hardly get a knife between two boxes to remove the tape. And the tape has to be cut between each box, as the box tears if you try to remove it.

Crunchy surprise
I am not a big fan of bran cereals. Most of them are heavy and get soggy fast in milk. Smart Bran was a pleasant surprise. I love the light texture that is in between bran buds and rice crispies. They are impervious to milk and remain appealing to eat to the last spoonful. The taste is also amazing. There isn't that gritty feeling that most bran cereals leave behind. One criticism is that the sweetness, while good, is a bit much for such a light cereal but they taste wonderful anyway. Those of us changing our diets become less interested in sugary foods. Nature's Path could do us a favor and cut down on the sweet. People can always add a spoonful if that is their taste. There is no way to take it out.On the "sticks with you until the next meal" topic, this cereal ROCKS in that department. You easily get 4 hours of full off of a serving with milk. The calorie count is within my goal of 400 calories a meal or less.I will be interested in trying the other versions of Nature's Path cereals if I ever get tired of Smart Bran.

A perfect cereal for adults
I put down a layer of flake cereal and then these on top in the bowl. I’ve also eaten this mixed with yogurt. The flavor is fine but I couldn’t honestly imagine eating this as a purely standalone cereal. The obvious plus is the fiber. I can’t find a cereal with more. There’s a brand that literally sells itself off of it’s fiber content and it’s less fiber and significantly more expensive so I’ve never even bothered.I call it “adult” because my son doesn’t enjoy it as much as cheerios but every few months he wants what I’m having and we all get to relearn this particular lesson.
