Brondell UF-15 Single-Stage Carbon Block Water Filter Replacement for Coral Under Sink Filtration System, Lasts 6 Months

We've used the 1-stage system for years. It comes with good installation instructions, and is fairly easy to install. Once the system is installed, changing the filter and accompanying battery is very easy to do. It doesn't take up much space beneath the sink. Each filter seems to last for 6 to 8 months. Each filter comes with a fresh battery. The battery powers a light while the filtered water tap is turned on, blinking blue for "all ok" and red for "time to change the filter." I've never had our city water tested, so I can't really say how effective the filter system is, but the city water doesn't taste good, and the filtered water has no taste at all. I have no idea if this system would be appropriate to use for well water.

Easy installation. The company emailed installation instructions and a way to contact them before I even received the item. They seem to be a good company. Parts seem to be great quality. I have had this for a year. I last installed a filter on 8/20/2017. It started blinking red (needing a filter change) on 2/18/2018, almost exactly 6 months. We use this filter daily, for filling drinking glasses to filling a fish tank. It is a great single stage system to use with city water. Please remember though, this is a single stage system. If you are drawing from well water or cruddy town water, look at three stage or cistern systems instead.

I'm happy with the water filter system and this replacement filter was surprisingly easy to install.

Why buy water bottles you can see test results on. This blocks everything and water taste great. You won’t want any other water.

I am so thankful for the great filter and the battery replacement in one box. I have this water system for almost a year and I can see the value and convenience of having it. No more oversized bottles delivery and water dispenser that takes too much space.

This is just the standard replacement filter for my Brondell set-up, which works well. Meets its expectations of 300 gallons over six months, although the last gallon comes out in about three and a half minutes, a minute slower than the first gallon. I used to buy the replacement filter through Home Depot on-line because it was considerably cheaper, but HD has raised its price and Amazon's price is now better--at least it was when I made this purchase.

These work well for about a month and then lose all pressure it seems. They are also getting more expensive on amazon. At the time of this review it's $130, that's a bit nuts. Bedbathandbeyond sells them for $79

Lasts nowhere near as long is it is supposed to. Maybe 6 weeks of normal use.The taste is fine though.
