DenbyAzure Coast 4-Piece Place Setting, Blue

Bought one set at $84.99 to see if I'd like it. I did...I loved it. Two days later I went to order seven more sets and the price came up 10% higher (labeled as item price change) at $93.99. Coincidence? I doubt it. My only negative comment about the place setting other than the price is that the cereal bowl is rather small. For that reason I would not have much use for eight of them. After checking other websites for deals, I came back to Amazon and decided to buy two sets of dinner plates and seven more salad plates and 4 more mugs as separate items (dinner plates come four to a pack for $58) and I saved money. I purchased the larger soup bowls and a few accessory items on Wayfair as they were less expensive than Amazon. Dishes might be less expensive on Wayfair also if you have a promotional coupon....which I did not.

Wow, I really love this mug! The quality is excellent and it is the perfect size for my morning coffee. I have purchased two so far and am working my way up to a set of four. Yes, the Denby mugs are expensive but they are well made and will last forever.I love the colors and the style of the mug and am very pleased with my purchase. The order arrived promptly and the mugs were carefully packaged and intact when I removed them from the box.They go perfectly with my handmade coasters that I sell in my Etsy store, CosmicCheetah.

These bowls are beautiful and sturdy. We got Denby salad plates and regular plates for our wedding but never thought to get bowls. Twenty years later our toddler has destroyed a few bowls, so I decided to replace them with some nice ones. Needless to say he’ll still be eating out of the rest of the Corning bowls.

A very nice cup but getting the damn sticker off not an easy task. Very poor presentation by Denby.

The media could not be loaded.  What a deep disappointment. My wife and I returned from your honeymoon and bought eight of these using wedding gift money. Why not two sets of four? Because it was cheaper to buy eight of the individual place settings.All arrived with packaging intact, but one set had a broken cup. OK, no biggie,=.So we unpacked them all and set them on our kitchen island (granite counterop). 7 out of 8 dinnner plates, and all 8 bread and butter plates were not flat on the bottom and rocked- some slightly, some horribly.I reached into our cupboard and took down plates from my 20 year old set of Mikasa stoneware. Al sat perfectly flat on the granite surface. This is "Denby quality?"I don't know if Amazon is selling seconds or if this is simply how Denby produces their stoneware. And I don't accept this low quality even if they are hand made. it would be quite a simple step to ensure the bottoms are flat. But what I can say is at Denby prices, this is simply unacceptable. So back they go.Note to Amazon- you are eating enormous costs on this transaction that would have been greatly reduced if the set of 4 place settings were priced the same or less than 4 of the single place settings.

Sadly this set doesn't come with the bowls pictured which was the reason we purchased it. It came with the white bowl w/ the trim, which looks like the plates. We choose to keep it because it would have been a pain to try to repackage, but more importantly because it's still beautiful, just not what we ordered. I would recommend this dinnerware just call first to see which plates actually comes with the set.I want to mention the pieces are not heavy, but that doesn't mean they are fragile. We won't be using them for every day use, although I'm sure they would hold up nicely to it.I'm sure we are going to wow our guests at our next dinner party.

I bought one bowl to see what it looked like in person. Beautiful. A little plainer than I thought it would be. But beautiful finish nonetheless. Over $22/ bowl is a little much in pricing though. I got this one bowl with a discount coupon offered. If I wanted another I cannot find that same offer now so just waaaay too much money.

Denby is an amazing product. I was happy to see I could find it here on Amazon. Honestly, they packaged this shipment extremely well. The dishes are flawless, but I already had a set and I needed more. I have absolutely no complaints and definitely recommend ordering any Denby products.

GORGEOUS Denby. I had Denby for many years and moved house so the old colour scheme didn't work. I gave it to my local charity shop and replaced it with Le Creuset. The quality of Le Creuset was NOTHING like Denby and I hated it. It was scratchy when you cut food on the surface and scratched easily. I decided to go back to Denby and WOW am I glad that I did. I LOVE this aqua range and I can mix and match so it works just beautifully. Plus the 12 piece set is €100 cheaper on Amazon than on the Denby website. Just gorgeous and really nothing comes close to Denby. Excellent.

Was looking forward to receiving this mug as I'd bought the matching cereal bowl already. However, it arrived chipped on the rim so was returned for a full refund no hassles. Meantime, the price had gone up by a number of pounds , so I never bothered to re-order. Once I'd seen it, it seemed over-priced to me, especially if it will easily chip.

These truly are gorgeous mugs! They enhance the coffee experience considerably for me! Just the right size for a satisfying steaming cup which fits snugly in hands. Colours and design beautiful and sensual. However, my husband prefers to use the old mugs as he says these are too heavy. Think they are best to cup lovingly in two hands whilst sipping your coffee rather than to hold delicately by handle? Depends on your drinking style? If you're a snuggler and a cupper, you couldn't choose a nicer mug!

Great price for a quality serving bowl. Happy with the way it looks and the consistent depth - it is possible to pile a lot into it without it taking up a huge amount of space on the table.

Bought this to replace a smashed one in a set that was a wedding gift; they are durable but not when you drop them from the counter directly onto a tiled floor. The bowls look great, good colour, good size, and they are generally sturdy - we've had these for almost ten years and they still keep their colour despite a decade of knocks and dishwashing.
