Super easy to install. Works great for my mint green 1967 toilet.Normally you'd just replace a toliet when every part has gone out at the same time, but the toilets base was much larger than a normal toilet and most of nuts and bolts had corroded. After ordering and returning 8 different toilet flapper replacement parts, this one worked.This fits into the almost 2 inch dauber hole perfectly. The handle chain lifts it just enough to let the water drain down and then back into place. No More running water sounds, no more excessive water waste. Perfect part.

I have an old house--1962 built. My toilets are original and still work great, however, recently I needed to replace the flapper on one. And the flapper mechanism is different than the current toilet models. I found this flapper and ordered it and it was easy to install and it works great. I ordered two so I have a spare for the next time I need a flapper. I am very happy with my purchase.

I have one older toilet in my house that I refuse to replace. A plumber once told me that my older toilet was better than the new fangled models even if it was using more water. I have replaced a lot of things in my old house but this toilet will not be replaced until I kick the bucket. This replacement ball worked very well. Please note, that in my case the long metal piece that came with it was too short so work on my toilet so I just used the long metal piece that was on the previous unit. That's the only reason why I took away one star but other than that, it is functioning and flushing as well as it did when I moved here in 1968 :-)

This simple item, which SHOULD be available at my local hardware and big box store isn't. My home was built in the late 50's and still has all the original plumbing, i.e.: toilet, sink and steel tub.Thank goodness there are still places, that keep folks living in houses like me, in mind. I will order a few more as back up.

I know there are not many toilets left that have the old tank balls but I would rather spend the few dollars changing the tank ball every 3-4 years than buy a new toilet. The package comes with everything you need to make your toilet stop running. Easy install. Should be able to have everything changed out within minutes.

I appreciate old, well made items, especially sinks and toilets USA made, from the 50-ties. Make me nostalgic. I restore them and have been struggling for a while to find replacement parts that fit.This tank ball is perfect! The metal stem is much better than the one I had before. It is longer.I am going to purchase a couple more so in a few tears will not have to try to remember where I bought the one that no longer works.Thanks!It made my day!
