This filing cabinet is so well packed for shipping with corner and side padding and protectors, including metal bracing to prevent the sides from denting. I love that the only assembly required was to install the wheels. The illustrations are a little hard to follow at first but installing the wheels is pretty intuitive. You just have to open the bottom drawer to insert the nut on the inside and the screw and washer on the other side of the bottom. The cabinet is high quality, had two drawers usable to legal (or letter) sized files instead of one file drawer and one smaller drawer for supplies. Great value.

Great value and very stable

It's a cheap file cabinet. I agree with others that they could have done a better job with the design because the files are not easy to remove. It didn't deter me from buying it because it's just for my home personal use and I'm not going into it constantly. It was the price point I like. What impressed me was the packing. When it was delivered and I saw the box, I thought I would be sending it back but damn. It had thick rubber bumpers on all sides and two metal brackets on each side. The cabinet walls are very thin and any impact would have dented it. Not a scratch. I'm writing more about the packing than the product, you'll see if you get one. If your looking for a cheap nice looking file cabinet for light duty, I recommend this. Cheap is not always a bad thing. You can install the casters in minutes. They give you an extra caster, washer and nut but I don't know why. You get 2 keys.

When I received the file cabinet, I was concerned it would be damaged or scratched as the box looked banged up. It wasn’t! This was unbelievably packaged and reinforced. Steel supports heavy duty corner wedges held the file cabinet safe. It is also very sturdy, not flimsy, and holding up our files. Wheel set up was easy. Only comment, wish it had side rails that fit letter size file folders to utilize the fill depth of the cabinet. To use letter size it only allows for a shortened length adjuster, it’s a small what I’ve to an overallHigh quality and sleek looking cabinet. Great addition to any office.

I love love love the 5th wheel design which allows you to open both drawers at the same time. My old one would lock one drawer when I opened the other and drove me mad. This one is so sturdy and the drawers GLIDE open and closed like a dream and never slam. Very quiet and the quality can be seen as well as felt. The one negative might be if you don't like viewing your hanging files from the side. I only use 2/3 of the top drawer for hanging files and still have room for my mailing envelopes and packing tape in front. The bottom drawer I use for general storage of personal items and it's quite spacious! I can fit my big purse, laptop bag and size 10 boots in there together...keeping my office looking neat and tidy. Just what I wanted!

This little file cabinet looks great. And the price was good. It came in perfect condition and I didn't need to put it together. My problem is what others have reported (which I did not heed, as I thought they may have been missing something) - this cabinet is a huge waste of file storage space, as all letter or legal files need to be hung sideways and FROM THE BACK. What this means is it's a pain in the butt to get out your files (in addition to the waste of space). And it holds much less than I was expecting because of the wonky layout. Most likely, I will try to rig something later by buying side rails so that I can utilize more space in the cabinet for actual files. If you're looking for something cute NOT for files, this will be perfect! If you actually want to lock up important files and have a lot - keep on looking.

UPDATE: I called the company today(5/24). They were very easy to work with and are sending out a new cabinet and told me that I didn't have to send this one back to them. I highly recommend their customer service and hope this one works better.This filing cabinet arrived yesterday (5/22) and was packaged well, although the box was not in great shape. I noticed, at first, a small dent on the front of the top drawer but that was not a deal breaker. We got it out of the torn up box and immediately saw the keys, locked on unlocked it, worked well, saw the box with the wheels in it, then carried, very carefully upstairs. We put it down and tried to unlock it to get the wheels out and it would not unlock, no matter what we did. The key just wouldn’t turn, except for a quarter turn, which was not sufficient to open either drawer. Getting our files cleaned out and then into the new cabinet was going to be my project for the day, needless to say, didn’t quite work out that way. Will call the customer service number tomorrow and will see what they are willing to work out. Will update the rating if they are willing to replace it, free of charge to me.

I certainly found it VERY EASY to assemble the wheels right beneath this file cabinet as I love so much of the idea that it definitely rolls in & out rather than having one that doesn't have any of those wheels which is difficult of these file cabinets to be removable. It definitely has the perfect height to fit inside of the spot where I have it kept into as well. And overall I'm impressed with the lock as it includes with 2 sets of keys for it which helps to keep your stuff in the most safe & secure place of leaving them in there as well🗄️🙂
