Just used this to replace my parents' Windows 7 Media Center PC that they use in place of a cable box. This is the perfect computer for it—I threw in an 120GB SSD for the boot drive to make it zippier (the entire top of the thing slides off and the top inch of the entire case is the giant 500GB desktop drive) and they use an external USB drive for storage. You could pick up an SSD and an external USB enclosure and just use the 500GB internal drive as the storage if you wanted, for a total of somewhere around $260.Here's the only con, and it's not really a con:As soon as I got the thing, I stuck in the SSD and installed a fresh copy of Windows 7 Ultimate from scratch—easy to do—but took a long time, even with the SSD. I was actually worried the install had failed because it was stuck at 0% for 20 minutes or so—just be patient.This computer is just powerful enough—the perfect amount of power for a Windows Media Center PC—as long as nothing else is running, and I'm good with computers so that was fine with me. Updating Windows 7? Took hours to check for updates, then took hours to install them. It's because the processor really isn't that zippy—that's the bottleneck for installing software. Once everything's installed, you're good to go—but that CPU isn't meant for hardcore processing. Do the updates overnight, then turn them off.My parents use the HDHomeRun Prime and I can't recommend the setup enough. Overall, an amazing deal for a PC of this price. It's 100x quieter than the old one too. It's a little louder when it turns on, but then once Windows is running, it's really, really quiet.

I use it for a HTPC and it works great, without additional memory or disk space. After setup programs ran, hooked it it to my receiver with no problems. I did have to adjust the screen size to my TV. My sister and niece have one too, using it as a PC. They have had no issues either.

Does what I needed it for. Added some ram and it runs better. The ram was cheep also.

I love this mkni computer. It is very fast. I use it mostly for streaming tv shows and movies..it is set uo to use as a regular computer too..i highly recommend it and i would purchase another one for sure.m

Great system for light duty work or streaming video.

I have the vivo stick and its awesome very fast speed on it and its atom x5 faster than my old core i3 from 2012 pc

Excellent for just 3 weeks it doesn start only the power led. It seems to be the micro mother.
