Master Lock 140D Solid Brass Padlock with Key, 1 Pack

This master lock I purchased I was so impressed with it how well it’s made solid can’t pick it not worried to keep my items secured with this lock. Probably weren’t the best lock side purchased in years. I’ve had other MASTER locks in the past, but this one really took me by surprise of how strong how well it made. I would recommend anybody that wants to buy a secure lock for his belongings.

I’ve gotten pretty decent at picking standard locks—usually, I can get through them in under 10 seconds. However, this Master Lock 140 definitely puts up a fight! It took me about 45 seconds to get it open the first time, which is exactly the kind of challenge I was looking for. ​The Highlights: ​Security Pins: Whatever is inside (likely a spool) provides great feedback and resistance. ​Rotation: You can really feel the core movement and counter-rotation, which is perfect for learning how to handle security pins. ​Belt Ranking: If you’re following the LPU (Lock Picking United) rankings, this is a solid choice for Yellow Belt practice. ​I’m sure I’ll get my time down as I get used to it, but I highly recommend this for anyone moving past the absolute basics and looking to practice their "feel" for security pins.

I bought this lock to accompany a lock cable, and I have found it to be lightweight, easy to use, and a good value for the money. It appears durable and since it's brass, I feel reasonably confident that it will be weather resistant. Plus, it's a master lock and that comes with it's own degree of confidence. It came with two keys that feel like they'll hold up well

Purchased these items before except for the Master Lock Padlock. Needed another padlock or two more my work lockers. Very nice indeed. Amazon driver is always courteous, friendly, and respectful when delivering items. Kudos👏

Exactly the lock I needed to replace. Lost the key on previous one, never failed me, I failed the lock. Received this the next day, now I can go out on my bike again and stay in the store / restaurant a few minutes....maybe. (mine came with TWO keys. not one)

The good: the build quality is decent enough for a very inexpensive 4 pin lock. Great for learning the fundamentals of lock picking or keeping your kid brother out of your secret stash. The bad: Anyone besides your kid brother will be able to pop this thing open within a few seconds. Even though it's nice to look at and feels solid, it can easily be picked and it is small enough to be cut. Overall: It's a nice inexpensive deterrent lock to keep honest people honest. If someone wants to bypass this thing to get into your stuff, they can do it with ease. I'm still giving it 5 stars though because of the build quality and price combo.

Absolutely awful security, but great for beginners to lock-picking. I’ve had trouble learning on other brand locks, because they keep my unskilled hands out too effectively, but Master have provided exactly what I wanted in the 140D, in a lock that yields to my unsophisticated attacks.
