Toca TF2DM-12SC Freestyle II Mechanically Tuned 12-Inch Djembe - Copper Spun Finish

Great drum. It was a lot bigger than I had expected it to be. It sounds great, but not likea drum with an authentic skin head. it will serve its purpose though. I needed a synthetic drum to play in drum circles when it rains. It came with a really nice carrying case for free. However the drum is hard to get out of the carrying case because of the tapering and finishing of the case. Drum gets caught when trying to remove it from the case at that point because of the rubber coating at the bottom of the drums. You can't beat this drum for the money though. It costs twice as much if you buy it straight from toca.

Love the weight, very light compared to my wooden carved djembe. Sounded great right out of the box. I’m very happy I picked this one!

It came in great shape and it also sounds great. I am learning to play and and soon will be playing it in our praise and worship team.

Good quality construction, lightweight, reasonable sound. Bass is good and has a slap most people can get without any training. Sound is not too tinny. Way better (and Lighter) than the old Remo mondo heads. great for community drum circles

The sound on this thing is amazing! I'm not a professional drummer, but one of my friends is and he LOVES playing this djembe. Great purchase! Great price!

Purchased this for our son more than 5 years ago. It is still in great shape and sounds just as good as it did when new.

I did not care for the sound of this drum, and the finish made it slippery when held between my knees. I returned this item.

Perfect sound

It's not a synthetic head as described . I've just received it and am disappointed to see its clearly goat skin. The label says so too.
