Butterick Patterns B5970 Misses' Top and Skirt Sewing Templates, Size B5 (8-10-12-14-16)

Loved the skirt. It fit very well. Not as crazy about the bodice. The yoke area had 5 layers of fabric, so i tried to cut out some of the layers. I still need to go back and work on that some more. But definitely will use the skirt pattern again.

This pattern is perfect for our church Christmas drama. It was as perfect as if I had purchased it in the department or cloth store. I would recommend this to anyone!

The pattern is MORE than I expected, and can't wait to get started on the project.

Advertised as an advanced sewing pattern so it just meant you had to read it very carefully as lots of little bits to sort. The arms were in about 6 pieces and you had to make sure they went in the right way. I put the arms in wrong and had to undo it. But on the whole quite straightforward. The skirt was very straightforward, just needed a lot of floor space to cut it out, so the floor was fine. Also, dead cheap to make with an old duvet cover from the 2nd hand store for 99p and an old cotton sheet for the blouse. Cost me about £5.00 in all to sew, after buying some lace. It was much admired at the fancy dress party. And I even made my friend a skirt from another duvet cover.

Quand j'ai voulu utiliser le patron, j'ai regardé le tableau des mensurations pour savoir quelle taille me correspondait ( les tailles sont anglaises et exprimées ainsi :8,10,12....jusqu'à 24). Une fois déterminée j'ai cherché ma taille sur le patron::: mais elle n'y était pas! En fait il y a 2 patrons différents: un pour les tailles 8 à 14 référencé B5, et un autre pour les tailles 16 à 24 référencé F5. Mais comment savoir à l'avance ? J'ai donc dû modifier le patron pour l'adapter.De plus la traduction en français se trouve sur une feuille à part. Ce n'est pas très commode de faire la va et vient entre la feuille avec les schémas explicatifs ( en anglais) et la fiche en français sans schémas.

Modello carino e che rende bene per la silhouette edoardiana. .Questo cartamodello è abbastanza semplice da realizzare anche per chi ha iniziato da poco ed è multitaglia.
