Great Purchase
I am going to start by stating that I am not very mechanically inclined and basically memorized one of the few Youtube videos before popping the hood on my 2013 FX4 Supercrew. The overall installation was actually easy with the only real drawback being the same as other reviewers had stated in that the O-ring clamp is too small for the new silicone fittings. As mentioned in other posts, I held on to and reused the original hose clamps and had the installation completed in about an hour. Throttle response is improved and you can clearly hear the turbos. I've only put 20 miles on the new intake so it's still too soon to know about gas mileage.

Met and exceeded my expectations
The filter kit was very easy to install. I took my time to double check everything and clean parts of the engine compartment as I worked and still only took about and hour from start to finish. I had read numerous reviews prior to purchasing this system. The three main benefits I read about were increase in torque, horse power and gas mileage. My first priority was hoping to gain gas mileage and I was pleasantly surprised. I have several routine trips with varying driving speeds and terrain (a combination of interstate, backroads and city driving) . My normal mileage was 18.8 - 19.5 miles per gallon depending on the route and now I average 21.5 to 22.1 miles per gallon on those same routes. I am thrilled with the change.I also like the added low "growl" from the engine. The eco boost would always push you back into your seat from a stop and that seems enhanced as well. A recent passenger said they felt the same feeling as when they were in an airplane seat on take off.I fully understand that the filter needs to be exposed under the hood to allow the engine to get max air however, I cringed at the thought of the overabundance of our bugs (in the south) filling up my filter. I saw the mesh filter covers ("High flow Pre-Filters) offered by K&N (costs just over $40.00) and also Filter Wears (costs $24.95 and comes in a choice of colors). I bought the Filter Wears in Blue and it fits over the filter like a glove. It allows the filter to breathe without loosing the benefits to the engine while catches the bugs and larger debris. You just slip off the pre-filter, clean it and slip it back on.The only con I have is that K&N should provide the correct size hose clamps for all the hoses. One of them is just too small. K&N is better than that!!!

Everything youd expect from K&N
I have been a fan of K&N for years. Love the look and added performance of their setups. Just installed and already seeing better fuel mileage and added throttle response.Only negative is the two clamps being too small, but I knew that was going to be an issue. Will just need to run and pick up two larger ones. Yes it’s a problem, but not really a big deal.FYI - I have seen a bunch of pictures of installs and decided to run my box weatherstripping different than most. I kept it one full piece and met the cut ends together in the center of the box rather than a corner like most do. Looks much cleaner in my opinion.

Provides some extra pep; more (hopefully) to come
I installed this in my 2012 F150 EcoBoost. I’ve always wanted one of these cold air intakes however I never really had an automobile worth enough to put one of these into it. That said, installation was pretty simple. Took about 30-40 minutes. As others have stated, the hose clamps for the passenger side tube are too small. They will fit however you have to undo the clamp and put it on by wrapping it around the tube and tightening. Pretty lame how/why this is. How hard is it for K&N to include the right size hose clamp? After install, I do notice a bit of pep in the truck. It’s too early to see what impact, if any, there is on fuel economy. There is a slight growl from the truck now too after putting this on. Probably would sound better with an aftermarket exhaust. So far though, no issues/complaints

acceleration you can feel!
I replaced stock intake and breathed new life into my truck, couldn't believe the increase in power, throttle response, and acceleration. I expected an improvement but not this much. I installed on a 2014 F-150, FX4 Supercrew with 3.5L Twin Turbo V6.The only very minor complaint I have is the hose clamp size for the rubber boot connection from the k&N intake tube to the existing turbo intake tube. it was to small to get over the existing turbo intake tube and I had to use the slightly bigger one of the stock intake tube.

The value is here.
Easy install (30 mins), looks great and sounds good. Hang on to your old clamps, as they will fit better than some of ones that come with. Few others have recommended this, too.I’ve had mine for about 2 months. I think I feel a bit more “pep” in the step. Definitely a 1+ mpg increase. Definitely can hear it. It compliments my twin turbo spin up (the whistle sound) while not over powering it. No after market exhaust, so cannot comment on that setup.I would definitely recommend.Also- I did like another reviewer did/recommended: on the gasket that fits to the inside of the hood, I positioned the ends of the gasket in the middle of a strait area, vs having the gasket ends meet on a corner. Creates a cleaner look. See bottom of photo for visual.

Great buy
On my 2014 f150 ecoboost. Kit was easy to install. Just one gear clamp didn't fit and need to use an old one. Make sure the clamps are secure as one came loose on me. I tow a 30 foot travel trailer behind our truck and it weighs 7500 lbs. I instantly noticed a big difference while going up hills with trailer. Very happy with this purchase.

Excellent filter for the cost
Filter assembly went in without a hitch only took about an hour or so highly recommend this filter, wasn’t as noisy as some of the right ups I’ve heard.

Plastic sounds
Easy to install, but sometimes you hear a plastic sound (the original one didn't do that) I'm a bit disappointed but it does the job anyway! I would have preferred a stainless tube or something better at this price!
