Yes, I believe you could because they have interlocking features built in. For safety and stability, you may want to add a wooden shelf if you stack them several layers high. I love this boxes. They line my entire garage with labels on each to identify contents.

Would these hold LPs / vinyl?

I agree with the previous answer that they will fit in one direction only, leaving a few inches space open on the side. They will fit about 80 normal depth single LPs each.
