I didn't need $600-$700 cross bars that can hold 600lbs. I just want rails to hold some bicycles over my truck bed and these are perfect. Easy to install even with an inside mount rolling tonneau cover. You'll probably want to cut the bars down a bit otherwise they'll extend out almost as far as your side view mirrors. I'm going to hunt down some quick release knobs to allow quick removal of the cross bars from the mounting plates. Don't need the bars all the time and taking them off will cut down on some wind resistance.

I'm happy with the product, but I had to do some DIY that should have been done at the factory. The expansion nuts weren't expanded and slid out when I tightened the bolt. It was an easy fix.I used locking pliers to hold the back of the nut. Then I ran the bolt in to expand the nut. If you don't know how these work, just watch a youtubube video.They work well for carrying my surfboards. And they seem pretty stout.

Spent awhile looking for crossbars for the truck bed and although these are not the cheapest I’m so glad I went with these. All hardware and parts look and feel like it’ll last. Installation was easy and everything fit well. I have these install on my 91 Toyota pickup and although Amazon said they wouldn’t fit they fit great. There is a little overhang but it’s a mini truck and it’s just more room for activities. They work with all my Yakima stuff.

The overall quality seems great and installation took less than 30 minutes. I slid the brackets under the rails of my BAK Revolver X2 cover and reinstalled the BAK clamps. The tension from the rails keeps the brackets very secure. I was worried after reading reviews of it being flimsy but the brackets and cross bars form a very secure system if properly installed. I assume mine was a return because hardware was in a ziplock bag but everything was there for an easy install.

The crossbars feel sturdy. Drove three hours with the kayaks strapped on with no problems. Brackets were modified to allow the cover to flip open.

I had to re-engineer there brackets to make them taller and now my taunno cover will roll up and clear there rack now my taunno rails will hold it in place with a extra bed clamp on each one to hold it dteady just have to shorten other side of the 2 rails and I will be done. All done.

Lightweight. Quite wide, mounting brackets are huge and fit with my tonneau (pace Edward's switchblade) with no modifications. Bonus is the t slot on top of the rail fits a 1/2" hex bolt perfectly.

The bolts are supposed to accordion to secure the rack but they immediately just pull through. Either going to try for a refund or just try and use similar size nuts

These are great cross bars!. Not going to get anything better for the price and the integrated channel allows for many options. I didn't give it full 5 starts because I did have to modify the brackets to fit my tonneau cover. Very satisfied
