Valve came missing the Moen M-CORE 3-Series Mixing Valve Cartridge. Now I am scrambling around town to find one. I cannot believe they do not send one with the valve. Another 70 dollars and still no shower. Really shaking my confidence in Moen. Seems to me to be obvious that the cartridge is necessary or at a minimum in the description put a note that says mixing cartridge not included.2.26.25 UPDATE: I spoke with MOEN customer service yesterday. The rep was very helpful. She told me that the M-Core the cartridge comes with the trim kit, the L-Core the cartridge comes with the valve. MOEN should really make this easier, it should not be that hard. My suggestion to the average home owner is to call MOEN tech support first and find out exactly what you need to order.

Worked and fit perfect!
Well made, good instructions. Pay attention to the install set up if you need a three way diverter. This one does a two and a three way diversion- I read about it on YouTube and had to coach the plumber! Working great.

Selected this model from a conversation with MOEN support and it didn't work very well.
After discussing our application with MOEN customer support, who was very friendly and seemed helpful, we purchased this valve for our bathtub setup. Well apparently it isn't meant for filling bathtubs and the waterflow into our bathtub is quite a bit slower then standard. And now the valve is sitting behind tile and can't be replaced. It's a bit frustrating.
