Too Bad It's Not About Total Rewards.
This books barely scratches the surface of total rewards. Whereas its predecessor was full of detail and information, this is just a gloss over of a lot of general HR issues - There are 5 chapters on compensation, the rest if just a lot of fluff about well being, employee development, inclusivity and a bunch of other chapters on stuff that should not be the focus of a book on total rewards. Focus on the nuts and bolts of the profession, not a lot of fluffy nonsense it s more ably covered and studied by others.
