GretschDrums Catalina Club Drum Set (CT1-J483-BS)

Exceeded my expectations. This set is so beautiful. The quality is outstanding. Attention to detail on build. The sound is incredible for small shells. It's a softer/darker warm tone with a lot of warm punch. Not brittle or too high pitch. The softer mahogany shells really compensate for the loss of low frequency in smaller shells. Will be great to gig with, as it will be light/easy transport and takes up less real estate great for smaller clubs tight for space. If you want a reasonably priced compact set, That sounds great, and is easy to transport and set up in less space. This is the one for you.
