I haven't played with an RC car in years (over 20), but this little one is kind of cool. Instead of a forward-backward and left-right controls, this has two forward-backward controls, one for each side of the car. The left wheels are independent of the right ones, which sometimes makes it hard to control, but also means it can do little flips and spins and stuff.Most importantly, it comes with two car batteries, so one can be on the included USB charger while the other is running the car. The batteries take about an hour to charge, and you get about 15 minutes of run time each if constantly running, and they're pretty easy to swap out. I'd like to see a longer-running battery, maybe one that's size C instead of AA? The compartment is large enough.Another neat feature worth its weight in zinc is the included baby screwdriver to open the battery compartment. I didn't have to search through all my junk to find one that finally fits, they included one. Bravo.The box leaves a little something to be desired in terms of English grammar. So do the instructions. However, so do 6 year olds for whom this product is intended. And honestly no one looks at the box once it's opened, and you really don't need instructions beyond the first instance either.Overall it's a neat little toy that will capture kids' attention spans for just long enough to make it worth it. I did receive this item in exchange for my review.UPDATE 6 HOURS LATERMy 2.5 year old niece came over today, and I had the batteries at full charge. We played with the car for a half hour, and the first battery hadn't even run out yet.This tells me two things. 1, it's entertaining enough for all ages. 2, the batteries can last a long time in normal play use. So that's pretty cool.

I didn't tell my kids that it was coming and when it got here I was def more excited than they were even when they saw it. Once this bad boy got powered on and ripping around on the floor everyone wanted a chance to do 360's in the living room. I thought it was going to take regular batteries in the car and the remote, I was wrong it comes with AAA batteries for the remote which works nicely, and (2) rechargeable batteries for the car w/ a USB charger.I did have an issue with the switch not turning off on that car so it turned on as soon as the battery was connected and was always on. I messaged the seller and it was an immediate reply and I had a new one on its way. If you are looking for some random family fun

I really do enjoy this car. The controls are easy to learn and it can go all over the place. The rubber-lined wheels are nice so it doesn't destroy the car or my things. It works well on grass, cement, carpet, and tile. Be careful as uneven grass can make it a little bit of a struggle, but I was always able to get myself out of it without having to pick up and move the car myself. It has two rechargeable batteries, but only needs one to run, which allows the other one to charge while you play. It also comes with a small screwdriver that I keep with the charging cord so I can replace the batteries easily. charging cord is USB so it can easily go into most of my chargers and lights up when charging.NOTE: Make sure when you plug the battery into the car, you connect it all the way. You should hear a click with the connector. If it doesn't click, it can easily come out the first time you run into something.Overall, a great car, and it is nice for the low price. (However, my cat was very confused and ran away when I started playing with it)

My 2 1/2 year old like it. Fast and doesn't get stuck anywhere. Comes with a proprietary clip for the rechargeable battery that connects to a USB charger (charger not included) for the car itself. There is a spare battery to swap out so you can charge one while using the other. The controller takes 2 regular AA batteries included as well. The controller is a little different than what I'm used to. Each lever controls one side. To go straight you push both forward, same for reverse. To turn you turn one side or the other. There is a small free wheel in the front and back so if it crashes into an object it can roll and flip. Most RC cars I've used (nothing fancy) always got stuck. All in all it's definitely fun for the both of us.

Very impressed with the fact that everything you could possibly need is included. From the double A batteries for the remote to the screwdriver to access the various battery compartments. The car functions exactly as advertised and is pretty easy to figure out how to run. I was chasing cats around the living room within minutes of opening the packaging. The blinking lights on the car were pretty cool as well. It is surprisingly quick but not so fast as to be uncontrollable. A quality made product for not a whole lot of money.

The media could not be loaded.  Very fast... Quicker than I expected but lightweight and soft so no risk there for the little one I bought this for. My nephew absolutely loved it and enjoyed zipping this thing all over the house! Lol

This car ended up being much better than I expected! It has held up and given my 2 year and husband old literally hours of fun inside and outside on the concrete and on the grass. Most young two year olds probably won’t be perfect at using the remote, but they will still love watching it race around and flip over things when an adult is controlling it. And also, this is recommended for 6+ so for that age it will be perfect! Also, you can’t beat the price! Such a fun toy for $20! We say, GET IT for your son/daughter for Christmas and you won’t regret it!...I was provided this car at no expense in exchange for my honest review.
