Had a old version of this in my house and had to try and look online for a replacement. Got this and was a easy install and works great.

The replacement is identical to the original. Replacement was easy. Now we have chimes back instead of a buzzing sound.

This replaced the guts of a 30 year old Nutone. It was easy to install and the old cover fit perfectly over the new mechanism, but the ring volume and sustain are not as good as the original. Upon scrutiny the chime plates are identical in old and new, but the replacement utilizes smaller and thinner springs than the original. You can still hear it and the pitch is the same, just a little weak on the sustain. Just the same, I am grateful I found it, and this is a minor complaint. Overall...worth it.

Exact replacement for original chimes. Old chime burned up due to a stuck button. Also replaced the button with Wyze video doorbell.

Very low sound to doorbell, if I hadn't already had mounted it, I would send it back because you can barely hear it in the other room. Oh well, I didn't want to spend a lot and of course got what I paid for. Too quiet!

The first unit I received was broken, perhaps because the chime bar support was a little more fragile than the one it was replacing. The second unit, fed by a 19 volt difference coming from the transformer, would chime but buzz loudly. Moreover, it refused to synch with the accompanying doorbell switch. I have resorted to a wireless setup.
