10 Year Old Rock Collector Recommends!
I was a little concerned these might be lame, but my 10-year-old nephew—who’s really into rock collecting absolutely loved them! Total win!

Keep toddlers interested. But only for the ones that don’t put things in their mouth
Love this, when both my boys went through a rock phase, I tossed them in the sand and they would hunt for them for hours!

Has created a new interest!
The number of polished stones and categorising all the gems kept my son busy for hours! His interest and knowledge has grown and he’s saving for his next bag of rocks!

Great quality, loads of fun!
Great set for a kiddo who just loves rocks! My son sat with a magnifying glass for hours. Love that there is a book included for continued learning. The set is exactly as listed and shower in the description.

Very well packaged
The set came enclosed in another box which i appreciated since it was shipped with a flat of energy drinks. The box of rocks was also wrapped in shrink wrap to keep any loose pebbles inside which was great because one of the bags inside did open or wasnt sealed completely so there were tiny specks of rocks everywhere inside the box. The pictures made it seem like all the rocks would be at least big enough to examine but the majority in number are little bigger than a few grains of sand. The number "over 300" is certainly correct though if you count all the smaller bits. As for sizeable examples, I'd say you have around 30 plus 100 much smaller samples, then several hundred pieces to get lost in the broom. Its a fun set but wouldnt pay more than $20 if i did it again.

misleading, dissapointing for the price
It's neat, but misleading. Some of the rocks are so tiny they're easily lost. The geodes were very difficult, we still haven't cracked them. The drawstring bag doesn't fit even half of the rocks
