Wanted to be able to watch some old cassette tapes from my old video camera and this worked like a charm

Product is perfect, exactly what I needed to play old wedding video. Quick delivery too. May be a bit pricey but it is the past.🥴

The product worked for 5 minutes. It now has one of my home movies trapped it the shell. I have requested an exchange. We will see how the company handles the problem and I will adjust the rating if warranted.

I was a little worried when buying this because of how finicky VCRs can be. The second video I put in using this had the film unravel and about a minute or so of the tape was damaged. I removed the lid to the VCR and have left it off and have had no problems since, so the problem may have been the VCR rather than the tape. Other than that this has worked as expected and I've been able to watch old cassettes I haven't seen in years. The price is a bit steep but it works as described.

It played back most of mini-C cartridges. A few appear to be a sticky tape or spool. When too much friction the playback would stop. But that was not caused by any fault of the adapter.

BUYERS BE AWARE!!, Defective item, ruined two tapes. seller refuse to issue a full refund and took 20% restocking fee. claimed that the item was tested and it worked fine. I still have the ruined tapes see pictures. I purchased from another seller another Cassette Adapter and it worked fine.
