Very happy with this seating die.
This is the first time I have used a Hornady die and I must admit I really liked the fact that it lined up my bullets for seating (but this is the reason I bought it for). I used in on 7mm Rem Mag. and used a RCBS JR3 press which does have its down falls. I have the Redding Big Boss II press and believe that if you are using these seating dies that one of the taller presses would be better if loading for long action, the only reason I use the shorter press is I can get more consistent COAL, don't ask why it just does for some reason. When using it with the shorter press I would have to push the bullet guide up a bit in order to get it to work and if you don't mind doing that then it works great.Loading Hornady ELD-X bullets left no ring on the end of the bullet when seating like my other dies did before I polished them out to prevent that, they all came out within .0005 of each other on the 30 or so I reloaded today with the seater.
